It's like paying for Legos. Except worse. -.-
Right when he called me a loser for not having Reservoir Dogs on Blu-Ray in his amazing non-British drawl I just said "No" and turned off the browser.
What they really need to do is add modifiers for character proportions.
The point of the article is to state that only YOU, and the others who picked up the console in its youth, have the luxury of backwards compatibility. Not a single darned SKU of the console on retail as of today, October 12 2008, has that capability, and there are absolutely NO plans for it to be brought back.
I am freakin' GLAD I bought my 80 GB PS3 on MGS4's release date, especially knowing that BC would disappear six months later. It now sits next to my also-backwards compatib...
It appears as though they've made very little effort to improve the graphics... :<
Stagnation. Too much of a good thing is a bad thing. You play a game for a year or longer and you're bound to move onto something else. Only those who have immaterial connections to the game (sentimental value, social links, attraction to lore, loyalty to the company) will remain past the one year mark.
And whether WoW is good to you other commenters is irrelevant.
Doesn't matter. This article is comparing a small, affordable handheld with a multimedia home console. It's like comparing apples to... well, raisins. Shouldn't he be comparing a multimedia home console to, you know, ANOTHER multimedia home console?
The article fails. Game over.
Oh, so just because Controller B didn't exist before Controller A, means that Controller A is definitely better? WHAT KIND OF STUPID REASONING IS THAT?
Think about what you're saying, you freakin' moron. That's like saying PS3 is worse than 360 because 360 came first, which is obviously not true. You can't base a value judgment on the time when a console was released. Well okay, you can, if you want your value judgment to be based on pure idiocy.
"I HATE PLAYSTA...
@1.1: Worse*.
I think the real question is, why does this guy actually expect anyone to purchase the original Xbox over the 360? Right when he says "those who do not have either, but are thinking of purchasing one", I just stopped reading. Because srsly, wut?
Well...
Step 1: Games for Windows - LIVE
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit
That sums up its purpose.
LOL. That's cute.
It went down when I finally had time to play my newly purchased Rock Band 2. Now I have to wait to transfer my old songs over. ;_; It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have a LAN party Monday afternoon to go to. T_T
What's a CD?
Unless they come out with a faster format of similar size before then.
Didn't this stop being news the first ten times it was approved?
17" laptop monitor at 1920 x 1200. *shrug*
*shrug* Our age of consent IS 13 after all...
As a roleplayer, I'll have to respectfully disagree, though I understand your viewpoint. There are different values to gamers when it comes to their favorite games, and mine happens to concentrate solely on the social and story-enriched experience, which is why I keep coming back to the game. Things like this are what make my experience.
Being able to enjoy the storyline of the Warcraft series with friends who share my passion. Chilling with my guild around a campfire in front of...
This is pretty tame for the open zone.
Okay, I agree that the Blu-Ray is the reason why prices are still high, but the argument that removing it will help the PS3 is MOOT. You know why? EVERY SINGLE PLAYSTATION 3 GAME IS MADE ON A BLU-RAY DVD.
All PlayStation 3 games are delivered on Sony's format. The capacity doesn't just allow for HD video content, it allows for expanded game content. It's not just about Blu-Ray movies. And that shows why the author of this article is ignorant to blame it all on his lack of interes...
