Besides their handheld is still strong. WiiU won't fail, but if it does then Nintendo has the resources to fail a couple more consoles then fall back on handhelds. Then aren't going anywhere for at least 10-15 years.
Don't listen the PR BS... Both Sony and MS are worried about Nintendo and Nintendo is worried about them. This whole " I don't care what my competitor is doing" attitude is stupid. A good business is concerned when their competitor releases a new product that is more powerful and offers new features. This is the case with the WiiU and PS3. Sony will be out with PS4 before the end of 2014. It would be stupid of Sony/MS to leave the market open for Nintendo for 2 years.

The PS3/Vita combo isn't a threat. Let's say half of Vita owner have a PS3. That's a million. 60 million plus PS3 owners and one million with Vita options. why use resources to develop for such a small group.1 in every 60 PS3 owners has a Vita.
Not to mention the WiiU has more buttons,better graphics, and no lag.
If WiiU does 10-15 million is the first year then every single one has a controller. 15 million to 1.

As a person who used both, Gaikai had 3 EA games on its site, Onlive has a whole wide selection.

I just got a PS3 and beat Uncharted 2 and started 3... Two of the best games I have ever played. Zelda SS is still a little bit better like maybe .1

They need to not overdose on hardware so its selling at a 200 dollar loss at $500. This means no power level over 9000. Sorry to disappoint.
As a person who is going to buy a PC for gaming and the end of this month and a person who just got a PS3, I have a hard time believing this. Then again, based on how expensive PC gaming can be, I would say the average PC gamer has access to more funds.

Whether fanboys like yourself want to believe it, next gen starts this Fall. As for NextBox and PS4, Sony and MS are stretching it out as far as possible with the dated hardware of PS3/360 but seeing one in late 2013 wouldn't be surprising and all will be out by 2014. You must think Sony and MS are stupid if they will leave WiiU as the most powerful console for 2 years , while getting exclusives that look better... I like Sony and Nintendo. Giving WiiU two years gives it a 25 million user...

They have enough money in the bank to fail 2 or 3 more consoles... 8-10 billion saved up, there okay. Plus WiiU will do well.
Also it doesn't mean that WiiU won't have food graphics... They just aren't going to sell a 500 console with a 200 loss so GFX boys can have a 7990 GPU in there.
