not sure if xbone will "win" holidays because PS4 is back on top on Amazon right now. bone fell to 14th spot two weeks after the price drop. I think people will want what they want. and don't forget that the holidays include the rest of the world as well. PS4 is dominating everywhere. But the fact is, price drops are a weapon both companies have, so even if xbone sells more now, PS4 will have the same boost whenever they decide to announce a drop, whether that be tomorrow or two...

The difference was that MS brought it out at the reveal of a GAMING console, after 3 years of not supporting the core gamers on their last gaming console opting instead to go after the casuals and the mass market and applications, and failing to even mention gamers/gaming in their reveal. It spoke to where MS's ultimate goal audience and loyalty lay. Its a difference scenario here.
Thats true but Sony and the other 4 major movie studios are attempting to take one of the meddle men out (the cable companies) by going directly to the consumers. To be honest im not sure how this will turn out but the studios will have a huge advantage in that they are the owners of their own movies n programs. We are seeing this even with smaller movie producers like HBO. It might actually prove to be a win win for the studios and the consumers. No more paying for 15 extra channels just so ...

not sure where you are getting these numbers. but you have been misinformed. I guess public relations is working overtime at MS. (jk) but seriously, the PS4 sold to customers is currently at 2X that of xbox. Just in case you are one of the select minority to whom facts matter.
MS didn't technically "lie" but they did practically "deceive". they said we are going to have "10 Million shipped 'soon'". "soon" could be next year. Also, "shipped" could mean "we are going to flood the holiday market with xbones".
