Ahahahaha I like it.
True. Either way I think we are going to have some exciting stuff on both consoles, soon.
its going to be awesome, but i don't think its applicability to gaming is as impressive as VR. AR will work great with games like minecraft, or any game that doesn't require new locations. But for traditional gaming where you need to explore or see different areas, its not going to work. AR will also work great as a secondary peripheral device to add to the experience of traditional games, kind of like Kinect. for example you might be able to see your car floating around in the living...
so now the problem is that its "too predictable". I wonder what other excuse they will find before release. DAY ONE.
if according to Spencer himself DX12 doesn't effect xbox one as such, why does MS have Phil Spencer announce it like it does? Dare I call him Phil Spinster?
haha you gotta admit though, exclusives are where all the hate is at. If you ask me, the systematic bashing of games only happens for business reasons. From time to time you get a critical bashing of a game that is not up to par, but when it comes to big budget bashing of games that are supposed to be a big deal for one or the other console, its all about the money. These are the equivalent to paid advertising, except they work negatively. Its like a pre-emptive strike. Just my opinion though...
All I know is that its the most exciting game for a while, for me. I hate that people try to bash it just because its not on a particular console. If this game was multiplatform, we would have a lot of positive articles about it, but alas, its exclusive. Anyhow, can't wait to pop it in. Looks gorgeous. I'm pretty sure a game they spent this much money on, will not be a disappointment.
Past Playstation systems did tend to live longer than other consoles. I think that plays a part in it.
Probably not. But who knows maybe they will drop the price even more?
what? that is very incorrect. There is literally NO $1 game on there. Literally. Not sure where you got that info.
not a bad deal. If only I had enough time to play.
Very true. Intelligent bubble for you my good sir.
Considering that Sony is a major movie studio, they have a ton of content. The move toward digital streaming has already begun, and the studios have the upper hand if they play their hands right. That is why Netflix is quick to begin its own studio productions, because they may not be able to rely fully on their competitors in the future (but i think they are pretty much semented in the industry so netflix isnt going anywhere either). Its going to be interesting.
Personally ...
Im just wondering when will Sony use its price-drop card. I have a feeling it will be around the same time next year.
@messiah
"Released nothing but a kids game"
Why do you misrepresent facts.
First off, why do you act like the games released within a certain window (the duration of which is based on your preference) are the only ones that count?
Secondly, even by that analysis, what games did you xbone have? A remaster and SSOD. Thats it.
If you really wanna compare games go do a research. PS4 has about a 80-85 exclusive game lead. And that gap is increas...
Yup VR is going to be amazing i think.
They forgot the Order 1886. And a ton more actually.
There was a report about eye tracking where the reporter mentioned that Sony let him play infamous without a controller, and that it actually worked quite seemlessly, and he was "amazed". Apparentely he could shoot at enemies by looking at them with the intention to shoot. Which is beyond me.

Before you get carried away with youre prefered selection of exclusives, here is a little reality:

I want this. Yakuza is always a good getaway from all the same old same old out there.
