It's not a rip off, the game retails at £30. This is 25% less than the retail price of any new PS3 game. And this game is totally worth buying. So if you want the DLC, fair game to you, you get it, and if you don't, enjoy your cheaper game.

Yeah enjoy paying for patches and updates. I'll be playing the cheaper, superior PC version with free updates.

It's funny you should mention that Power of Green, because if in Far Cry 2 you find a really good weapon that is, for example, unreliable as hell and will only work for a short while but is slightly more powerful than your current weapon, do you swap it, or do you keep the nice, shiny weapon that won't break and will see you through to the end of the game..?

I don't think FC2 will be a big hitter with the consoles. I think Resistance 2 and Gears 2 will do well with the audience who enjoyed the first ones, and the same will happen with CoD WaW. It looks to be more of the same gameplay with WW2 and a few extras that seem nice. I'll pick it up, sure.

Blu Ray speeds are as follows. Right now it's 2x, so a 4x would be (obviously) a 2x speed increase, which would be fine.
1× at 36 Mbit/s
2× at 72 Mbit/s
4× at 144 Mbit/s
