Although Gears of War & Mass Effect are on PC already, their sequels are in doubt of if they are headed. I decided to play the best games this gen you need both, so I got myself an Xbox 360. Gears 2 here I come :)

It's the future but it ain't the now. And right now people want/need Windows for their PC apps and their PC gaming. Hopefully it changes in the future to a more open platform.

Best hardware LOL usually hardware has to be functional to be useful.
I'm pretty sure the Cell still pushes more floating point operations per second than the i7.
It has all the programs (that includes GAMES) and support, so why bother changing? If Apple were in Microsoft's position ala allowing any and all hardware to be used with their OS I think they'd be having their share of issues too. But that isn't the case.
Boiling Point was great once you patched it, had some real atmosphere to it.
I know it feels like an asshole watching you, throwing things at you when you don't need it, but you have to remember it's just a piece of software :D
Can't speak for the other games, but Mario Kart Wii exceeded my expectations, I think it's great fun.

The differences are minimal, I'd still pick up an Nvidia card for the PhysX support & Nvidia Control Panel.
