WTF was that in Dragon Age?! I'll be cleaning the cookie chunks i spat all over my computer for weeks!
I actually enjoyed Blue Dragon, albeit some annoyances but i thought it was a very well made game. The same cannot be said for LO though, i tried to like it but it just never really pulled me into its world.
I however skipped on SO4 all together after watching a friend play. The terrible voice overs, bland graphics and dull story i witnessed were more than enough to tell me to steer clear of that wreck. I can't see how with so few changes SE plans to charge 60 bones for a bargai...
How can this game be any better than the aforementioned when all it does is imitate them? The demo was full of flash and had its moments but from what i gathered the game is nothing more than a seriously toned down DMC for younger and sexually depraved gamers, i mean come on she loses her clothing after firing so many rounds! I'm not saying it's a bad game but the demo gave me the impression this was a bargain bin pick up for me as i can think of other, BETTER ways to spend 60 bones.
While i was excited about this game a while back, after seeing the import i'm more or less on the fence about it. The game is very bland in all aspects, it has that look and feel of a launch title which is not bad but by no means is it a good thing. If i had to chose between this or Demon's Souls i would go with the latter even though WKC provides more story.

I used to like GI and thought them to be one of the better publications out there but over the past few years their magazine as a whole has been going down the drain.
I gotta say though, it's hard not to call these guys biased anymore when they review games like Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and score it LOWER than it's counterpart even though it's a VASTLY superior game.
The reason behind the score? The lack of blood........Never mind all the improvements the game made over...

Oh yeah, here's some serious wishful thinking but i hope they fix the charge characters when the computer uses them, it's one thing to be beaten because the computer spammed a move but it's just outright BS to have a character like Guile or Honda spam moves you know cannot be spammed. Like i said though, wishful thinking since this has been an issue since the beginning.
I'm loving the additions, Dudley being the best so far but i'd like to see some of the more unique characters thrown back into the mix. While i didn't like Urien personally he was in fact quite a useful character in the right hands as were Blair, Alex, Karin and Eagle. Just PLEASE keep Gill OUT, i could not handle having to fight Seth and Gill in the same game. If they throwing in new characters i'd like to see Mel, Ken's son, make his debut, be pretty cool to have a father son showdown.
Is the sky blue and the grass green? Hell yeah! MW2 is all hype cause without it you would just have the first MW.
What magazine is this? Regardless, nice score for an awesome game this game should in fact be up for game of the year and as far as i am concerned it is, nothing else this year came even close. Sorry Uncharted, you were great but Demon's Souls is just epic! Over 200 hours, 3 characters and STILL going!
Anyone who thinks UC2 will beat MW2 at the SPIKE awards simply doesn't understand the concept of popularity. I love UC2 and completely agree that it is a MUCH better game than MW2 however it is just not as popular.
Think of it like picking a prom king, its never about the best dressed, best attitude, best dancer, it's always the most popular and at this prom, MW2's is a sure shot at king.

EDGE sucks with their reviews period but its funny to see another publication give MW2 yet another near perfect score but forget to call it out on what they bashed everything else over, specially Killzone 2, its lack of INNOVATION. MW2 is simply more of the same but hey lets look that over cause this game is popular and those others were not.
Video game journalism like EDGE is a complete joke.
Why are people arguing over this POS? This game looks ugly and dated on both consoles! Need i say Scenario Mode? There is no excuse to have something so broken and downright ugly in a game these days. What this site needed to do was a graphics comparison between this and Dark Resurrection so people could see just how little effort went into this game. Tekken 6 felt like day old bread with a fresh baked tag, thank you Namco Bandai for regressing the series down to a laughable level...bastards....
I just finished this amazing game and outside of the shoddy targeting system, i have nothing but praises for it. The game is fun, challenging and incredibly addictive, not once since last week did it leave my PS3. If you haven't played it, give it a go, just remember this is NOT a Zelda title and if you approach it as such, you WILL get worked.
The balancing is off but nowhere near as bad as Marvel vs Capcom 2, play that unbalanced mess and you'll be begging to jump back on SFIV.
I'm all for a new Street Fighter but i can also sympathize with the people who see this as a rip off. However, i would say wait until they release more info on whats included in the game, what this "Extra" you get for keeping your copy might be. Who knows, it could be some sort of mail in rebate where you send in/trade in your copy of SFIV and get Super for a discounted price of say, 20.00-30.00 which would be the sweet spot for this game. Capcom would be stupid(But not the first)no...
So ummm yeah, i knew this game was made borrowing heavily from the GOW series but wow this is way past blatant rip off. I'm not by any means saying it's bad cause i liked it but man i couldn't help but laugh at how bad this game wanted to be like the other. In the reviews this one better get called on it's "Lack" of originality cause not even the combos were changed! lol Regardless, it's looking like a nice tide over until GOW3 drops.
