Good thing I wasn’t one of those dumb 13 million. As soon as I heard EA and season passes priced at a cost of a full game I said I’ll wait and see how much content is in the game before I waste my hard earn money.
Here’s how, they didn’t hit the 🎯 expected with BF1 and are now try to hit 🎯 by making it up with BF2.
Bloop the game has been finished for awhile now. The BETA was to test the waters and see how much they can bend you over and make you spell R.U.N. Once you feel it they’ll start to dial down.
I think EA lost it’s identity. They don’t know if they want to sale trading cards or video games. What a shame.

Developers have families to feed....$#!t so do I. And I don’t have the extra time needed to grind out just I can get what someone can get from a simple purchase. That’s why I don’t buy these POS games. My pockets don’t hurt if I don’t buy. And until the grind equals the the simple purchase, I’ll miss out.
Are you referring to Amiibos? I wouldn’t call these thing the same. You can unlock / get items from an Amiibo. Just look at Zelda BoW. 18 different Zelda Amiibos give you new weapons and items. Not include what ALL the other Amiibos will unlock. This would be like buying a loot box in FM7 and being able to open it on any Game with loot boxes.

I believe what is happening is that developers notice gamers weren’t buying their DLCs and MTs that they are now forcing you to progress / level up by forcing you to buy these loot blocks.
Eff this $#!t, I guess i’ll Be missing out again this year. Look I don’t care if the developers and publishers want to get paid for “Extra” work but at least give us a complete game. People need to WTFU and smell the coffee. So now that DLC sales are low they chose to force you to buy content that should had been in-game content since Day 1.
It’s not forward compatible , it’s a next gen console with backwards compatibility
