I say they buy more studios and double down on the ones they have and allow certain freedoms.
As long that first party games and fully MS funded 3rd party games are there and run at 4K . All other are not a concern till they make their way to Scorpio.

I don't think MS would do a hostile take over of a small gaming studio , now a tech company or something like a Google that I can see..
All I know is MS needs to start aquiring IPs they fund or fully fund them so aquiring is automatic. No more losing out or funding project to watch them go elsewhere after a period of time .
