in 50 years sure i bet we will have fire tv size things or just a playsation/xbox/nintendo app on our smart tvs that stream games with no frame drops or input lag but until thats possible we will always want our games running locally.

That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard... the 3DS launched at $250 the switch is $300 obviously $50 can be quite a lot of money depending on your situation but if a kid or their parent can save enough to buy a 3ds then surely they could hold off for an extra $50 right?
