Because Sony treated it as a cash grab rather than a love letter to the ps1 and it shows. It’s a shame because I was really excited for it but what’s the point if all it does is emulate games badly they should do a sega say they fucked up and make a proper version.

pretty sure what they need is local servers i see so many people complaining about not having a local server its insane game companies need to have at least one server for everywhere their game is sold most of them are billion dollar companies...

I don’t love to know why some people dislike crossplay, every time I mention it I just get a bunch of down votes but no one says why they dislike it... it’s 100% a good thing it gives more niche games a larger player base it lets you play with friends from anywhere (unlike a lot of people on here I didn’t pick my friends because of the plastic box they play games on).

I don’t think you quite understand what’s going on, Sony and Microsoft are playing console chicken they both know that if one little detail isn’t what we want the other will capitalise hard we saw with the Xbox one that console details can change up to months before release so I doubt one of them is gonna do a full reveal until it’s absolutly nessasry.

great news, i was actually worried when they said cross play across all platforms. Input matching is the best way of having crossplay because lets be honest mouse and keyboard would dominate in a first person shooter but having to option to enable matching with pc to speed up matchmaking or to play with friends is 1000% ok with me.
Getting kids to understand how important sleep is, is a big win imo when I was a kid all I wanted to do was stay up late cause I thought it was cool. I can see this being a blessing for parents with toddlers that don’t want to sleep now they can give them their device and say pikachu is sleepy or whatever and send em straight to bed. Also if it has some kind of sleep track info page like the other sleep tracker apps it could maybe help parents explain to doctors what their kids sleeping patte...
if anything sony stand to win even more this gen if they had cross play on every third part game why would anyone buy an xbox? i say that as someone who primarily plays on xbox but this gen microsoft have really faffed about where as sony have done nothing but releases exclusives they may not all be as good as god of war, spiderman or horizon zero dawn but days gone and Detroit filled in the gaps in sonys line up and at least they had something.
Bungie just got themselves out of their activision deal after getting themselves out of their Microsoft deal I’m pretty sure they are done with publishers, as for remedy I doubt they would sell to Microsoft after they turned down funding Alan wake 2.
