Honestly, the backlash was not unfair... Like hardcoregamer above says, DRM and online always was unfair. Glad the guys at microsoft fixed it but I do understand why they're still getting backlash. They potentially saved their console, most of my friends were for Ps4 when the whole Drm was announced, since it switched, only a few decided to go the Xbox One route.
Microsoft had a very Anti-Consumer approach, luckily they fixed it.

I think the graphics of both systems now (ps4/xbox one), are very nice! Most of the games I've seen like Battlefield 4, Forza, Infamous, And Kz:Sf Looks amazing!
These are all games coming early on in the cycle, just try to compare an early ps3 game to a current one, their is a big difference in graphics. Same could be said with Early Ps2 games to most current.
We're in for a real treat this Gen on both sides of the playing field.
The only game Xbox One has that I would love to play on Ps4 is Titanfall.... but guess what? I can play it on my old 360 or on my PC :D Ps4 has far more games I'm interested in, KZ:SF Infamous! Octodad lol
I bought my white 500gig ps3 last april and it's down to 80gigs left :s All those ps plus games + disc download games took its toll.
500gig is not enough, gladly with the ps4 we could upgrade freely.
I would at least give it a 3.5 Then again I love the show... and the gameplay is ok

I think Nintendo Skipping E3 was bad idea. Could have really given people hope in the console and jumped to it. Mario Galaxy 3 anyone? They need more developers on board. Xbox One and Ps4 have Similar specs so the prices should not be too far apart, Ps4 being the most powerful.
The Xbox One comes with a Kinect that may jump the price so this can be about right in prices.
Used games should be left as they are now... Xbone would be taking the profit off all of the used games put into their system, none of it will go to developers as far as I'm concerned and I think Take2 wanted a piece of the pie awhile ago.
If Devs really worry about used games it's simple... make a good engaging game, add a few free dlc within the time range of 2 months of release which is when most game sales occur. Stop people from trading in the games in the first ...

They approached it wrong. I don't think having TV functionality on the Xbox One is wrong what so ever but I do believe focusing on TV on the reveal was horrible. The Ps4 can outsell the Xbox One, yes. I'm a PS4 Supporter but things can change at E3. I've been a sony guy most of this gen but do own both consoles :3

Yes, going first would have been better for them, I feel going second and giving a bad show compared to the ps4 was a bad idea.
I thought the box was very very bulky personally. That would not deter me to buy the console but just my opinion.

Since the Release of the Xbox 360, and the Ps3 consoles have become a much more social realm with the increase of online gaming. I'm in favor of this.
