Looks like their strategy is paying off, just focus on gamepass and subscription services ms.
Anyone with any sense would buy a PC over anything ms is offering and the smarter ones would steer clear of their subscription services.

Does every gaming PC have an SSD? That's where the next gen games will benefit, the devs can actually code to it. Let's see how well it is utilised or if it makes no difference apart from load screens.

They've said quite clearly - they don't feel they have anything to show to warrant a big stage presence. Updates on games we know about can be done through State Of Play and smaller shows.

That's the shot, there's been no indication not to get hyped - in fact the opposite. Looking great so far.
I actually enjoy the hype, I'm currently hyping Death Stranding, CYBERPUNK 2077, TLOU2 and PS5. I'm a realist, if games don't meet that hype - it ain't the end of the world.

That's one of the more intriguing aspects of the game, to see how it's handled and to what extent.
Shallow set pieces do not make a good game, the gameplay looks fine. Its the world that is interesting, attention to detail and so forth.
Stadia going the way of the Dodo - they'll persevere with it because they bucket loads of cash, but it won't catch on in any meaningful way.
