What does this mean for ms 1st party studios, will they hold all their games back? Is halo really just a polished xbox one game?
Seems the strategy from ms is biting them on the are 5 months out from release haha.
I applaud CAPCOM for this decision. Nice how the title of the article only says PS4, it matters not though.
Nope - it has been said a few times already. Some people just don't retain information, or can be bothered to search for an answer.
Considering we want see PSVR for another few years at least - I'm sure it'll be wireless and provide an accurate tracking solution.
It uses HDMI - might be no need for it, all the extra grunt in PS5 might make it redundant.
Nope - much like VR, 3D games are still evolving - they age dramatically in a short period.
It's extremely hard to reinvent the wheel time and time again. ms will find that out, hopefully one or more of their studios can strike gold - it ain't easy making a good game.
You've still yet to finish the game - comeback once that's done, then you can cast valid judgement.
I don't recall Sony actually showing the rear of the machine, only the front.
They've spoken of an expansion bay.
The more I think of interchangeable faceplate the more it makes sense.
Keeps gamers happy and adds another relatively easy revenue stream.
Not very pro-consumer of them, cross-play is very important to the xbox community. I wonder how well the xbox faithful will respond.
I would've thought cross-play was a given considering how bad this game looks. Seems DOA at this point, hope not - most devs can't swallow too many duds these days.
1gamer - You misunderstand, I'm more than happy with the state of console gaming, you can as unlimited as you want - I don't care how you game. Sony haters like to throw around the argument 'a few exclusives' as though it's a bad thing. Are you excited for CP2077 - so am I - it's a new ip.
It drives you plonkers nuts that Sony is a successful as they in the gaming space - I'll tell you why that is - they give PlayStation owners what we want, new...
tim - You silly billy - In your reply you gave 3 examples, 2 of which had next to no effect on market penetration and agreed with 1 that actually helped with market penetration - and you completely misunderstood what I said. BluRay is the only example of a format being helped by the inclusion of it in console hardware. Remember there was a format war at the time - or did you forget about that time ms tried to sell a HDDVD add-on for 360 haha.
I remember very well - good tim...
P_Bomb - get on that bro, there's a reason it's regarded as cinemas best trilogy.
Your nearly 10yrs too late haha - and only half way through, the best is yet to come. The later chapters are great.
TLOU2 clearly builds upon the first in terms of gameplay.
My mate won't be happy he's been referencing skillup this past weekend haha.
Are you seriously telling me DVD AND Ethernet gained that many more users because of consoles. Come on mate you can't believe that for a second.
BluRay on the other hand - stand alone players were the same price as a PS3 back then, so many opted for a PS3.
How many monitors support 120fps @ 4K? Or are you happy for 120fps @ 1080? Not many - and certainly not many in peoples home.
Again - most console AND PC users don't have the...
Sorry I miss understood the original post - so you're happy with 30fps?
The original post led me to believe that's not acceptable for next gen consoles.
Remember who I'm replying to and what you are actually replying too.
tim - Most people don't even have decent 4K TV's. And the market for 21:9 would be so minuscule - what would be the point?
HDMI 2.1 is really only fully supported by LG this year, that might change next year though - I'm hoping Sony release a Master Series OLED with HDMI 2.1 next year.
Not over burdening devs with so many variables allows more time spent on creativity.
Sony has taken steps to address poor audio with tempe...
or the Black & Bronze that Sony has been doing on their high end stuff.
I think the white panels may interchangeable. Like top half of PS4.
That way it would be easy for people to customise their consoles.
--Onilink-- Because most of those features are few and far between on High-end PC's.
Sure a 60fps or 30fps is doable in most cases, but if you really want lots of graphics options - PC is for you.
Your comment only highlighted one of the original posts demands.
Sounds like you want to game on a PC. And most of their games don't offer support for all the things you mentioned.
Remember how much these consoles are going to cost.
Oh no - you have it wrong, I was writing from the perspective of an xbox owner.
I couldn't care less about crossplay, I'm actually one this people who LOATHE it.
Sony as a company has been doing crossplay before ms even knew what it was. Sony even tried getting it off the ground last gen with ms - who said no that time?
This is crossplay with PC - seems like a natural fit, but they're not supporting it. I'll say it aga...
