Close to a year of hearing 'true 4K' - 'Da Beast is coming' - and this not to demanding game grinds to crawl. It is quite funny.
And by the time it comes to the Pro, they should have it optimised.
MS should have waited, plain and simple - but they needed something for the holidays. Because making your own games seems too difficult for them.

It is not a good game by any stretch, graphics and sound are awesome - gameplay is average. Not what you would expect from Star Wars or Dice. Overall and average experience.
When did Sony lose? How do you quantify losing? Did it lose to the Wii? They've had 3 consecutive successful console releases and now their 4th one is decimating the competition to the point of embarrassment.
Unlike other companies Sony will take the lessons learned during the PS3 launch period, and won't make the same mistakes again.
True - just not the volume and variety that Sony has. And they never will.
Sony takes more risks and along the way has a few games that aren't received to well, but they cop it on the chin and try again.
That's gotta be supported and applauded, no matter what console you prefer.
They didn't cancel anything, why are you talking rubbish? The game is epic in scope and delivery. The PS3 just didn't have enough under the hood to do Fumita Ueda's vision justice.
This is the difference with Sony, they believed in the project and the developers vision. Did they expect it to break records and sell 5 million copies? Of course not. They made it for us fans who are craving a different experience from our investment.
TLG was too much for the PS3, and I'd reckon it coded from scratch to work on the PS4 as the architecture is so different from PS3.
If this does take a long time and ends up on Sony's next console, it shouldn't be a problem as they would probably stick with x86.

absolutely correct - x1x is a poor selling console as far as i can tell. Hasn't been sold out anywhere in AUS. Sony shouldn't be in any rush, the longer they wait the better it will be for us gamers.

And there's a little game on the horizon called GOW and then a littel further TLOU2.
