The problem with 3ds its that Nintendo didn't make lot of effort when developing it. its just poorly designed.
But is it a failure?NO of course it will have lot of good games in the coming months. When Nintendo rushed release the 3ds they thought the 3D will be enough to convince the consumers to buy it..when in reality the high quality games are the most important.
And for another take on Nintendo: i think they have to get out of there safe zone and star...
3ds is not a failure its just poorly designed and rushed in the market with few games..just let the games come and ppl will start to buy it..dont judge the system on it first year.
But this time they will have fierce competition from sony PSVITA..the vita offers much more value than the 3ds+ it will be easy to programed and its already got strong support from 3rd party studios.
This handled generation will be interesting.
