Dealing with issues and ideologies is politics. I disagree that it should be left out of gaming, game makers should be free to express their beliefs. It's important to have meaningful conversations and art can help facilitate that. The issues tend to come with publishers talking down to their own consumers like what EA did with Battlefield V.

Thanks!

Would* not should lol my bad.

Also how flexible can we be in terms of swear words?

So there is no submission length limit? Stories vary greatly in word count and I doubt you guys should want a long story with all the submissions coming in

No way this is going to be free for those who already bought it. This is EA we're talking about.

Because it's a fun way of connecting people, you aren't missing out by buying one version over the other. You can easily just trade pokemon between versions. It adds some charm to the game which I personally like.

Which is why I wish they would take matters into their own hands, Nintendo is huge and I'm sure they have some manner of control at a negotiating table.

I wish Nintendo would take matters into their own hands and give Pokemon to a better studio while giving them a higher budget. Imagine if Pokemon was made with the same attention as Breath of the Wild. There is so much potential, but that won't happen.

Pokemon is a business's wet dream: low budget product that makes it rain money.

Pedigree does matter, it's just not as simple as the name of the studio. Bioware was already going downhill before Anthem, we knew this based off insider reports written on the company and major staff departures. Bethesda was a more egregious case but they were also going downhill, albeit to a much less publicized extent.

I think it's important to note the context in all these situations. Having a shitty publisher and management can bring even the best companies dow...

It's not the best choice, it's Spacer's Choice!

Lol the community is not happy, take a look at the modern warfare reddit. The developers have stopped communicating because their players are upset with all the bugs.

Fix your game first.

It doesn't happen for everyone, but if you Google it it's a common issue. For those who have it, it's really bad.

Very unprofessional, unlike Blitzchung, this person got what he deserved

Meanwhile, the cutscenes are still busted on the PC version severely hampering the campaign. Don't release your game if there are still major bugs that need fixing, especially if you're charging full price for it.

It makes sense, Battlefield V was the best battlefield in years.

Oh wait.... /s

Yes it was a nice surprise. It's refreshing to see a well made game drop so suddenly instead of the usual 2 year hype up that's commonplace these days. Not that I blame anyone, games are expensive and difficult to make.

It's EA. I have more faith in a water bottle becoming the next president than EA handling a live service properly.

It's also not that hard to handle a camper. They have to stick their head out of a window to shoot you. You know where they are once they kill you, so just wait for them to peek and finish them. Or just cook a grenade then throw it.

2383d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Exactly so, I'd much rather have more tactics and strategy involved than mindless running and gunning. Low time to kill + loud footsteps means you actually need to think twice about what you're going to do and where you're going to go.

Just because it's a video game, they can't design the experience around making it more realistic? It's up to the developers what liberties they want to take when making their game. CoD can be unrealistic in some ways and realistic in others, just like any art form ever.
