fordgt guy,,,who really cares if one console out sells another,,the question you have to ask yourself is "is my current console going to last another two years, or another day for that matter?
360 really had no next gen competition(ps2 ofcoarse)when it first arrived on the scene,,,thats why it sold mad #'s,,lets face it,, when ps3 came out, not only did it battle against the wii but also against the 360, and selling at a higher price point.....
