I dont get the Forza:Horizon comparison.
I see on the IGN review they mention its not as compelling as "its open world peers"
Its not an open world racer. So because it has cars we compare it to one. Thats like comparing a FPS to a TPS.
I notice that in more places than just IGN. Do we bitch about GT and Forza not being open world? No. So just because its not a SIM, it has to be open world too? i dont get it.
But why?
I haven't heard anyone complain about this game yet all I read on the internet is reviewers bashing it?
I play the game and am loving it, along with almost every other person on my friends list. So, not sure what these people are smoking.
I also think its a game thats gonna be hard to judge after a few hours of play. It's going to evolve over its life span and probably just get better. idk. to each their own, but I'm enjoying it!

I own both systems and without a doubt I enjoy the PS4 experience. I turn my xb1 on for exclusives only and thats even rare these days...

I am one of those users. I find it to be very slow when I click on an "app". too much going on at once. I also cant stand the plain black background.
We saw a price increase here in Canada.
Ps4 launched in a better state than the Xb1 did, therefore it doesn't need as many new features.

Now they release bigger updates slower, people complaining they aren't updating enough.

People in walmart hardly ever know why they are marking down prices. They get told to do so and clear out the item. That's pretty much it.

MS hasn't had an exciting E3 in so many years, I cant even remember the last time I was excited after one of their conferences. I think maybe the Reach teaser?
Every year they hype it like they have a whole bunch of good stuff to show...then its always Kinect focused garbage. Last year was boring, the only thing saving it was the announcement of Ps4 pricing and design.
I'll with hold my judgement until after I see everything. Should be a good year f...
They'll probably just have some big named star announcement or something totally over hyped.

The xbox will need to spike so drastically and the Ps4 will have to pretty much stop selling in order for this to happen.
This price drop/console adjustment will help. but its not gonna make it a Ps4 killer. After all...I dont think it was Just price that was helping the Ps4.
