Most of the DS users are actually youngsters and older people. Who really don't care about the 3d aspect of it.
They are the same games being pushed in 3d with slightly better graphics.
That's why most people don't care about it.

From what i've seen sales are up 700k compared to last year.
PS2 sales in Japan,india etc are still doing good. Just shows poorer country, and some are not ready for hd. lol.

Depends what your Lod is, and how good you can stream textures. Shaders are a given.
But crysis 2 on consoles looked good imo, and i think with more time, would have run alot better.
Uncharted 1&2 still look fantastic, and no! not every game has to be openworld. Me likes a good story.

Inside out, COD is nothing like BF.
Runs on a very old, but heavy optimized engine. Yes it's 60fps, but the movement, fx are poor. I'd take BF3@30fps any day over COD.
I just want the game, 30fps butter , 60fps is gravy.
But both should be great.

Not even close, handling is wrong, tracks are wider then they should be, rewind features. It's pure arcade.

As for 30/60FPS argument. Faster speed is good for shooters and racing and it's very smooth.
Playing BF2@ 100fps back in the day was nice.
But the problem with kz2 and some other shooters was not the 30fps, but too many dips, 24fps, 26, 30fps. You notice it. But if you got 60fps and it drops to 45, you won't notice it as much. ...
