Graphic card and ram, most important things you can get or upgrade, most cpu's these days are fast enough for gaming.
Simple 3 cores xbox360.
1 core PS3 + spu's.
Most early titles used a single core while using 2 cores of the 360, gears 1 used 2. halflife used 2, fear used 2. etc.
That's why the rez drop etc or other problems.
Depends what your comparing to.
Sniper in re3 isn't one shot kill, unless headshot
also depends on recharge state,health etc.
Shotgun is powerful at close range, but takes 5 shots from distance at least.
Takes awhile to kill someone, depends on weap,health state, and many other things.
Cod as soon as your aimed up, your dead most of the time, does not feel like a battle. RE3 does.

I'm in the beta and have left quite a few messages on the beta forums + directly @ insomniac via twitter etc.
The game is a massive improvement over the other games, but it's been lost on the REZ.

Graphics are very nice, weapons are awesome.
Shaders,lighting,particle fx are really well done and it's all spoilt by the resolution.
Seriously insomniac really need to bring the rez up to at least R2'S.
Mlaa should be par for the course.
Resistance 3 beta.
PROS- Better shaders, better lighting, better particle fx.
Better weapons/feel etc.
CONS-Big resolution drop/ Sketchy animations.
If they could bump up the rez and fix the anims, it would be a big winner.
MOTY, probably because GT5 is a driving sim, FORZA1,2,3,4 are not and never will be, now rewind that back and play it again. ARCADE GAME.

Insomniac makes games for SONY and now multiplats.
Insomniac screwed themselves over, They changed too much from resistance1 to Resistance2 and that's why the sales never came. As for Resistance 3 it fking rocks.
Burnout was nothing special, got boring tbh, NFS are the better game.
I think the lighting in uncharted 1 in different area's was amazing, water and snow in uncharted 2 and in uncharted 3 water again has been upgraded and sand now.
Graphics will never drop off, there will always be something new somewhere.
