Hand-held screens are advancing faster than PC monitor screens, and from what I know the PSP2 has a very high quality screen.
Achieving the same sharpness, clarity and HD quality of HDTV's on a smaller screen shouldn't be that hard at all.
MLAA isn't the best form of fixing "Teh jaggies". But that's the only good form of AA the PS3 can actually do.
SM would ditch that method in an instant if they knew the PS3 could do 16xMSAA
It depends on what resolution you are thinking of playing the game on. A 20-24inch monitor will most probably be likely to run at 1600x1050 or at 1920x1200 if its a suitably featured gaming monitor. A decant Nvidia 5 series GPU will do fine, even a 4 series but without the DX11 Features...
If you thinking of running a game on 30inch then the resolution is higher at 2560x1600 and will require more RAM and dual GPU configurations in SLI or CF.
If GG tried to make KZ3's engine produce what Crytek have done with Crysis 2 then KZ3 would've probably ran at 10fps or lower.
It's harder to achieve photo-realism than puffed up grey & brown blurry eye-candy.
Yeah it's easy to make giant Tree trunks in a ccramped forest, but the momment you pan the camera up in the forst scenes what do you see? nothing but flat curved green patches which is what they call leaves.

Reading this thread made me realise one thing, you PS3 fanboys don't play your own exclusives. Have you people ever really played UC2, MGS4 or GOW3? have you seen the bad textures and jaggies those games have? have you ever played them using your eyes?
The trees in UC2 are worse than the ones on Crysis 2's streets. GOW3 is extremely blurry with added sheen and MGS4 looks bad apart from the last scene in the game. Some of you even mentioned HS LMAO! At the time HS was ...
You haven't even seen MGS5, what's more funny is the fact that MGS: Rising a multiplatform game looks better than MGS4 a PS3 exclusive.

And about the graphics, they're probably the weakest graphics I've seen this gen. The environments look on par with GTA3 and the people look dead and lifeless.

Active-shutter glasses are the worst 3D glasses on the market. Polarised are so many times better.
KZ3 actually has the worst set of animations I've seen in a game, after KZ2 I thought they'd fix the glitchy animations but low & behold it's exactly the same.
The characters move as if they're floating and the reloading animations are really really slow. I like Crysis 2's fast reload animations.
