While I think using hacks in competitive online games is abominable, this case might make blizzard set a different course on mods and the likes in their games. If the German court rules in Boss's favour that is, but they probably will.
The lack of mods and being able to play offline in many blizzard games is just plain stupid.
The bad thing is it can brick your console , pc gamers always take that risk because the platform allows them to expand content themselves but with the risk of burning your CPU/GPU with bad programming. I don't want that shit on my console haha, watch out, know the risk.

Hmm the article forgets to mention that publishers reach a far wider audience today then they did when games costed relatively more. So more work and money put in development but due to a wider crowd , more money is generated. That's why prices could and should stay the same. 60 bucks is already quite meaty imo.
