The Xbox One UI has been miles better than the PS4 UI ever since it's first major update in 2014 and yet they still support it and make it better because they can and wants to. The PS4UI is obviously worse than Xbone UI and Sony rarely change or add anything to it simply because they are so damn lazy.
Except that the One X rumors started months before the first PS4 Pro rumors started and the Pro was just Sony's half-assed and pathetic attempt to try and counter that, and they still managed to screw it up by rushing out a weaker console with awful Pro-patch support.
CD3 itself wasn't really a disappointment though because that game looked awful ever since the initial reveal and nothing they showed of it through the years made anyone really excited or care about it. Basically the game met the expectations all people had - including fans of the first game, and those expectations were really really low.
The last year before release the only people trying to hype that game up to any extent was Microsoft (duh, it's their job), and ...

Xbox One's competitors are PS4 and WiiU. WiiU flopped and died at 14 million consoles sold which forced Nintendo to jump start 9th gen while the PS4 is just inferior in every aspect.
Because even if you don't have an Xbox their controllers are still the #1 controller choice for PC-gamers as well as all the people who buy third party adapters to use Xbox controllers on PS4, Switch and many older systems. It's the most popular, highest rated and best selling controllers for a reason you know. And by the way, only inbred freaks like yourself with mangled claws for hands think the DS4 is better than the Xbox controllers.

Woah! I was actually considering buying Bloodstained the other day, but the price turned me off so I decided to just wait for a Steam-sale or something and I did not expect this to hit GamePass this soon so that's an amazing surprise. GP is undeniably the best thing to happen to this entire generation.
The only reason to get a PS4 is because Sony DOESN'T give you any choice of where to enjoy your games, and your gaming experience will suffer for it with lower framerates, worse graphics and that awful controller of theirs. PS4 is just a $300+ dollar paywall to play a few exclusives and Sony is basically giving you the finger while you just smile like a fucking moron and think it's a good thing.

MS has superior online, cloud, BC, console hardware, controller (not subjective, it literally has better technology and lower latency), pro-consumer moves, features and subscription services (Gold, GamePass) to name a few.
