I hope they can get their shit together eventually and actually get a foothold in this business. I wanted them to succeed just so they would put some pressure on MS to start the real studio acquisition wars and maybe even make them take the leap and go for a publisher like EA or Activision to save those dead and abused IP's that are just left rotting.
Reading the comments from all the pathetic Sony fanboys here is hilarious. First they hate MS/Xbox or not having enough games this gen, but now they hate on them for launching too many games at the end of the gen instead of saving them for Scarlett.

I'm pretty sure the Nextbox will be more powerful, but it doesn't really matter which one is more powerful as there will be a minimal (single digit percent) difference at most.
What matters is the overall ecosystem and the Xbox ecosystem is so vastly superior to the PS ecosystem that Sony will probably never be able to compete.

Sony is paying to use Azure to power PSNow and it's rumored that Nintendo will be using it as well when and if their cloud gaming plans are realized, and MS already has the biggest and most promising cloud gaming future with xCloud with the most bang for the buck. Basically if any or all of these services are semi-successful - MS wins.
As for Stadia... Everything we know about it so far sound awful and unattractive and Google has completely failed to create any hype for...
They won all of them? PS1&2 barely made them any money, the Wii easily outsold PS3 and the PS3 was hemorrhaging so much money that it almost bankrupted Sony completely. Nintendo and MS totally obliterates PS when it comes to software sales and all PS consoles have been inferior to the competition's consoles for 25 years straight now in one way or another.

Sony is devaluating PS as a whole simply by having weaker hardware, less advanced technology, missing and/or worse features, crazy censorship rules, awful anti-consumer policies and overall an inferior ecosystem, to name a few.

Xbox is already dominating PS4 despite of their horrible launch, and Sony have just been playing catch-up this entire gen and still haven't been able to match the quality of the Xbox ecosystem and they have also had to be dragged kicking and streaming just to add a few pro-consumer features people were begging for, and I really doubt this will change going into next gen unless Sony completely changes their stategy and spend billions to get on Microsofts level.
