In the novels and short stories, Geralt was mostly seen carrying only one sword. The other sword was kept in Roach's saddlebags for whenever it was needed. The games always had him carry both for convenience.

I agree! Also, as much as I prefer my games on Steam, I also only ever buy CDPR games from GOG. Being CDPR's sister company, they receive 100% of the revenue. You probably already knew that, but just in case others reading this don't.

SUPPORT CDPR!

This looks pretty awesome. I usually try to wait for reviews, but damn... this will probably be a day one for me.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned that you could play Anthem on the PC for $15 via Premier Access? Of course sales are much lower when you aren't actually buying the game.

Damn good points both you and rainslacker made! I dont know how I overlooked that... that's huge exposure.

These companies are taking a pretty large risk going with a little known launcher, compared to how much exposure the Steam front page is to the PC world. Let's do some quick, but obviously not perfect, math. If we all could agree that on a number (which isn't possible) on how many more versions of a game would be sold on Steam at launch compared to Epic (due to exposure). For start, let's go high with a (Epic)1:2(Steam) exposure ratio.

With a 1:2 ratio, if a gam...

Short answer: No

Long answer: I like to compare Fortnite to WoW (obviously respective to their own genre). When WoW was released back in 2004, it was laughed at by the Everquest crowd (at that time the most popular MMO) because WoW was up against the same month release of Everquest 2. NO WAY could it topple the MMO king's sequel!! Well, what SOE did not take into consideration was one key HUGE game design feature: accessability. EQ2 was released an unoptimized mess, req...

If EA didn't, after their recent success, I guarantee they do now!

To go back to 2004 and pickup HL2 again. Trek through the masterpiece level that is Ravenholm... play both expansion episodes... and get hyped for the inevitable release of HL3....

... whelp, now I'm sad...

My 980ti is struggling on my Acer x34 and I'm thinking of buying the next available EVGA 2080ti FTW3. I would like to think that would cover me for a few good years at 3440x1440p.

Awesome to see this game looking so good and doing so well on all systems. I won't lie, it took me like five tries to get into it, but now I'm hooked (PC). Between this and Path of Exile, F2P doesn't get much better!

This blogger must have never played Amnesia: The Dark Descent to leave it off a top ten list.

As a Rift user, I wholeheartedly agree! Even if it only came to the PSVR, I would just be happy to see VR getting some Star Wars love. It would help push the platform even more!

Just like how Horizon: Zero Dawn won me over and convinced me to buy a Pro, I can see Spidey having this effect.
