The milking of Cod ruined FPS MP gaming. It set bars and other devs sacrifice their fanbase to appease casuals and try to follow in cods footsteps.
Think about the originality we would have now a days if cod wasent that successful, it hurts to think about it.
I really wonder how many units are allocated by both the x1 and ps4.
Because it seems Microsoft has been steps behind Sony so far with getting dev kits out to devs to having the 180 which changes outlooks on the system.
I'm just going to take a guess and say Sony has a lot more allocated units because of their progress compared to Microsoft but that's my guess. Nothing is factual until actual sales numbers are released.

But looking at accomplishments and track record I don't think one dev has out played naughty dog.

Well I think it highly depends, if Xbox was your first console then you are prolly a die hard fan and won't jump ship but I know plenty of people that loved 360 said they would never leave but are jumping ship.
I'm personally waiting to see how Microsoft handles the x1 for a year or two before deciding to buy one. I don't like the evil consumer ways :P
I think the mandatory bundle kinect is what's hurting it Atm. But Microsoft has a hardcore fanbase that won't leave it's side easily so it is bound to sell no matter what.
And honestly the price isn't even that bad it was just under cut by ps4
I honestly feel bad for Xbox fanboys that downplay the game when they really should be out playing it, it's one of the most amazing crafted video game experiences out there.
And remember guys Sony is based off diversity the exclusives are so diverse and Sony has such a wide audience hence why the games don't sell like halo.

Well man I could debate about killzone all day I've been a harrdcore fan since kz1.
But here let me go on about what made kz3 so sub par kz2. Now I'm not saying it was a bad game in general but it was a bad killzone compared to 2, and most casuals will say they liked kz3 but the killzone community was in an uproar about kz3.

- kz3 sold less ( not a huge deal)
- kz2 had more people playing even during kz3...
That's some good news from out of the fire.
Will be cool to see what some people can do because we all know when players are given creative tools like that is often abused but then there are the creative geniuses.
Lets just wait and see how that plays out cloud is still very picky and spoty. Once everything is set in stone I don't doubt Microsoft cloud will be great but I'm withholding judgment until things actually unfold.

That's good news for Microsoft but that's crazy that they released very few exclusives and still were up.
I won't be getting an x1 for awhile because of the history of Microsoft. They may start out well with games but they forget about core gamers in the years to come.
Not to mention about 11-13 of the 15 exclusive they themself a said that would be coming out the first launch year have already been announced so that really only leaves a handful for ...
And for all I'm concerned all this talk about killzone doing nothing new or innovative how about you wait until the game actually comes out or all the details are released before making a judgment call.

Also people need to realize by now its not all about "new" it's about taking things that have been done before and re-defining them and making them better.
At this point in time it's very hard to come up with something "new" as the ideas and concept have been present in books,media,tv, other games etc.
First and foremost when I buy a console I look at what games it has and what franchises it has that may indicate what kind of games I will have in the future.
Believe it or not but I'm not a graphics junkie or someone who looks for features, that being said I will use some of the features but those are not the deciding factor whether I buy it or not.
