I totally agree. Galaxy is great(my bro just got it today) and the very best Mario (and game in general) for a long while. But Mario 64 is just that one game that still rocks.
It may have average graphics but it has 4 player co-op and a fun feel. Plus no loading screens! *cough* Halo 3 *cough* doesn't feel *cough* right to *cough* me compared to *cough* this *cough*
Is it worth the $160 or should I wait until next year for the individual stuff?
Edit: 40+ venues? Holy.....
But they are still great, convey the purpose, and are a MILLION times better than the launch ads.
Where's my email?
I agree 100%. I now just buy the games based on the in game footage and MOSTLY my impression of the demo if applicable. I don't trust reviewers anymore.
Actually I'm finally making my rounds to BestBuy and hopefully I'm picking up Uncharted Ratchet, and, if I can convince my parents, COD4.
He wasn't saying nobody else contributed, just that Sony did take part.....
Don't quote me on being true or not but according to the dev:
erikgolson: How important was the Blu-ray format in making this game?
Christophe_Balestra: Huge!!! We couldn't have made it without the Blu-ray or at least not at the quality we wanted it to be. We filled 91 percent of the disc. Everything is compressed and nothing is duplicated.
91%!
If any of the three next gen consoles had had one or more GB of RAM then it would have a gigantic boost in power, graphics, larger levels, less loading screens, more features in game, (I could go on) etc.
Thank god for the external video reset feature. I hate going to friends hosues only to realize that I forgot to switch the video from HDMI. Luckily I learned this quite a while ago, but it's still useful.
It's not me that's for sure.
He expected THAT to get fixed? What does he live on the beach?
If I was Sony and had to follow policy then I wouldn't either.
This part is the worst of the whole thing: . "It's a fun risk/reward mechanic that isn't quite as satisfying as Gear of War's superb active-reload system" (talking about the punch thing)
While yes I've played Gears many many times, taking a guy out with LOTS of different(IDK why they say you can only use one combo, depending on how you attack the guy-running, behind him, etc) the combat chagnes) moves is less fun than hiding and pressing a button twice to reload faster? When...
You are confusing me....the guy on the PS Blog talks to Jackson and there is no Jackson here so why are you saying Jackson? I don't get it. *ignore*
Jason said he thought AAA was 95 or above average.....not 90.....
@reply
I agree there isn't I was just showing Jason's definition of it. Even I don't agree with the quoted one.
This ain't the same guy.
I could freakin care less cause I'm picking it up anyway!
I'm picking this up for sure. I could probably put up a list of less than 100 games that are truly "original" and the only one within the last couple years would be Viva Pinata MAYBE and LocoRoco. Everything else is before my time probably.
BTW, I'm just going to assume that's NOT you on the PSBlog. You seem to good for that. You have seen the gamesblow there?
Got it early (gamecrazy got an early shipment luckily) and it's made me saw "Freakin awesome" about 10 times.
