I wouldn't give it a 6 because that implies mediocre, which this game certainly is not, but I will say that the review and reviewer have their merits. There is much truth in this critique of the game, namely the sense of "going though the motions". Not much has changed from the past two games and it is quite noticeable at times. The sole high-light of the game is it's story which imo is fantastic. It also looks miles better for me coming from PS3 to PC, but that obviously is...
I'm assuming you're talking about PC BF4, because if you're talking about PS4 then it doesn't have better resolution and it most definitely will have several static objects, just like PS3 did with BF3.
On Killzone: Shadow Fall, the game isnt sluggish and hasn't been since KZ2 lmao. It's called frame-rate compression and I suggest you find a better alternative than watching all of you're gameplay videos on crap YouTube. I've seen the game in-ac...
Video footage looks absolutely horse shit. When I played the beta on PC, I took the time to test out all the settings and resolutions that I could. This looks exactly like Medium settings, 720p with 2x AA at 30fps. Pretty much garbage...
I seriously hope this isn't representative of next-gen consoles because if it is, then that is going to suck major balls for you guys. The map looks nice though; I loved the idea of putting in a map that could flood itself during the Levo...
I don't care about what's better unless it's FPS or RPG genre. I'll still be more comfortable with a controller for quite awhile because I've only been playing on KB/M for 4 months compared to over 12 years on controllers. Playing with them is in-grained into my brain.
Also, I think you're living on the past with the controller argument. From what I've heard, the DS4 is better than the XB1 controller with the improved triggers making a really great...
Great..I plan on picking up one of these pretty soon just for my PC set-up. Really hope that there is great support for it from developers across the industry, because the only genres I plan on playing with KB/M are FPS and RPG/MMORPG games. Everything else like action, 3rd person shooter, exc. will be played with my controller.
Excited for this next-generation of games. :DD
That's not surprising, to me at least. There are people with-holding from next-gen consoles until next-year when there are more games to justify the purchase. Which means, if they don't buy next-gen consoles, they will be getting A SIGNIFICANTLY worse experience on current-gen hardware. The beta turned off ALOT of people from the game and the damage is pretty irreparable. Also to add, there is really nothing different about BF4 from BF3, especially if you played on PC. The difference ...
Well, the game is great for me. Side missions are deeper and story is much more entertaining than it's predecessors. Graphics on PC and WAAAAY better than PS3, which is what I played the first two games on. The difference in mind-boggling really; PhysX is an incredibly nice touch to the game and playing at 1080p/60fps is quite nice. So yea..it's a completely different experience for me.
Still listening and clinging to every word MisterX and his "insider" feed you. Lolololololol
Still laughing at how his "super secret sauce" information somehow manages to completely change from week to week and that the Sony lies will come forth "eventually" and GAF and N4G will reckon the day they ever doubted almighty Microsoft. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
CBOAT trying to console the Xbox buyers, but the damage has already been done, even before the Microsoft shit-storm yesterday. Obviously with any console, they get marginally better over-time as the optimization techniques become more profound and they begin to fully understand the hardware. Won't make up the capability difference in the two consoles though, because anything happening on Xbox One over-time will also be happening with the PS4. Anybody who hasn't come to terms with this...
Yay!!! Finally some direct-feed footage for next-gen consoles that we can compare. Already know PC will shit on both, but eager to see if PS4 takes the cake tomorrow. Kinda excited...
Anybody know if the footage being given is going to be shot at 60fps i.e Gamersyde??
Lmao it already supports PS3 bro...
Go ahead and buy one...
Actually looks better than I anticipated but the AA solution is disappointing. Although, it should be pointed out that even on PC, the AA is not that great despite what some lard ass like Cunnilumpkin will tell you. Still way worse than other next-gen shooters, but not nearly as bad as I predicted.
Lol at all the disagrees.
Don't be mad at me for telling the truth. It's common knowledge that PS4 third-party games will not be standing up to the PC version. There is a massive, in-your-face difference between the two and there is nothing any of you can do to stop it or make it change. Accept it and move on. Take solace that at least you have the most of the two next-gen consoles...so at least there is that.
This, KZ:SF and Infamous are only games I'm getting for PS4. Everything else is better on PC..
Yea, I don't even think that's possible without entirely rebuilding the game from the ground up targeting one specific console. And if this is the case, then expect it to be built on current gen hardware because next-generation console specs are still not set so there isn't a way to build a game around a console that technically doesn't even exist yet. Something else to point out, all EA games currently being built have the lead platform of PC and are then ported down to each ...
Really? I hadn't heard of that.
I looked up how they compared when it first came out and it was getting crushed by the 780 and Titan, but that happens with most cards. Kinda hard to believe that just overclocking made up a 25+ frames difference in performance between the two. But, I'll definitely check that out.
Wondering if the 780ti and GTX Titan Ultra(rumoured) will both be featuring a GK110 GPU unlocked, unlike the normal 780 and Titan which have a slightly hindered version. Also wondering how far they are willing to drop the price the normal 780. Would be great for the market if they made it $499.
That's funny coming from them because I thought almost everyone knew that this game was built from the ground up as on PC. Ported down to each existing consoles specs and then created with next-gen consoles specs in mind. You're naive if you think that this was built for consoles, because if that were the case, there wouldn't be such a huge glaring difference in quality between the PC and other platforms.
$180 bucks just for the tech to be added? Somebody could buy a fully capable monitor for that price. Much more than some small price increase imo...
How does the controller feel? If anyone who already has it could answer that, it would be great.
I plan on picking one up sometime today if they're not sold out.
