I dunno if "people" play their Vita but I do on a daily. My 1.5 yr old daughter as well and I just bought my fiance one for christmas. and the Freedom Wars online games are full enough for me too. along with KZ Mercs. So I guess so.

This is why I'm opting out of Splatoon. No Voice chat? C'mon, Arena shooter without chat? WTH Ninty?! I was going to rebuy a Wii U just for that game.
It could've for me but they said no voice chat so I'ma keep my 150$. I think for some but I see a cult hit immediately and a standing franchise that'll have its own fans in time. Could do the Wii U some good.

Really they didn't really stop supporting it. Wii and the Wii U suffered from an identity crisis when Wii U dropped no one knew that it existed (non gamers and the masses). I'm sure Ninty thought if they made something that all the fans would just eat it up anyway especially after the bloated success of the Wii. They can easily make the decision to ween off Wii onto their next product considering it needed MUCH advertising to get outof it's shadow.

NOPE and yes "lose" money in the short run, But MORE money in the long run by keeping interest in the product at hand. This used to be a common marketing ploy. If you think These MULTI-million dollar corps are all honest and that's under your beloved child hood heroes standards think again kid. Look, I understand why people feel the need to defend Ninty. I'm not buying another Wii u again to play this u uncomfortably esp since I'll still be having equal to or more fun playing something else on the consoles I have, plus they have voice chat. I'm a competitive gamer and like coordination. I'll play it if I can find someone with a Wii u but I'm not buying it.
