They have no reason to care and most of their fans are ok with whatever they do so All of the people that don't own Ninty's systems are in good hands to their respective consoles no other major devs are going follow these practices just because Nintendo does.
Agree or not the way I see it The most popular console probably WOULD have some of the worst people commenting which in this case is PS4 just like back when the most popular consoles get the most shovelware
Bottom line there are 20 people and 3 houses, out of those 20 people 8 of them are serial killers what ever house out of the three can house the most people runs the biggest chance and likelyhood of having the most killers in their midst.

This is all true and @SeanScyth to be honest I wouldn't tell you this is the same cannon as most comics or games or oher media besides the rest of the Arkham games.

Again though it's like read "How to piss off your online community in two weeks for dummies" I'm sure Ninty faithful well be ok with this kind of stuff and others that don't play online like but There are so many alienated people looking forward to this game that only have online options to play with friends. Multiplatform games help any one side by selling more units on that side bottom line there are (that I know personally) people that bought a PS4 just because most people have PS4 or most of their friends have PS4 so Thats what they bought last holiday and CoDAW I believe sold more on PS4 than X1 in 1v1. My point is that there is more PS4s than X1s in the world and even with the ads for CoD it still sold more on PS4 this holiday I see your point but multiplats can indef give a sid...

Well considering the games are loosely based on the anime track this would be spoilers. At the very least way behind the Manga considering it's over. Anime is a way more popular medium and has the bigger following to base other mediums after if sharing the same source material. There are at least thousands of Naruto fans that only follow the anime and are completely oblivious that the manga ended already. Hope that helps.
