You can't compare this to the 360, pc or ps3.
It's like having a 25 dollar steak from the local restaurant, compared to the stake from a top of the line restaurant, sure that local restaurant makes an amazing stake compared to other places in it's price range, but it's no 5 star restaurant 75 dollar steak.
look at halo 3 it has some 80 reviews, or hl2, 93 reviews. It will drop down over time, like bioshock and halo both did.
it looks good, like timeshift or pariah but it doesn't look to be ground breaking or wave making.
Mass effect is the first true rpg/shooter hybrid, halo 3 tried something new with forge/theater, and 4 player online co-op with a point system. Uncharted does nothing new, taking elements of lara croft and gears of war and plastering some nice graphics on them.

my guess that 8 is purely to garner attention. Like those that gave halo 3 an 8 to try and get clicks and get people to go to their website. great scores all around, I'm happy.
i find halo 3 plays very diffrerntly from halo 2, specially with the lack of the plasma pistol and less dual wielding.
and all the drivers are fing up the preformance of the new cards you just bought.
This thing is selling like mad to companies that require cheaper dx10 capable cards, and this is who ATI is selling it too.

purely because it was so much like halo 1, they did that on purpose for all the fans that have been following the series. Go play through all the games with a friend and without your sony shades on and you'll understand the scores.
they give 360 games bad scores and PS3 games super high scores, and give halo a 3 out of 10 like i think it deserves... right?
