1. Get rid of DRM
2. Get rid of always online requirement
3. Get rid of restrictions on self-publishing and support the indie community
4. Drop the price a little
5. Make the box smaller/sleeker & get rid of the power brick adapter thing.
Wow. I didn't believe it when people said Msoft was paying retailers.
Seriously so excited for Witcher 3.
This and Cyberpunk, CD Projekt RED seems to be becoming a huge force in the gaming world.
Did I mention how excited I am for Witcher 3?!!!!!!
Ha, it's by EA.
EA hinted that Microsoft paid a lot of money for the timed exclusive.
I'd bet a large amount that it's coming to the PS4, just like Mass Effect.
It's really not innovation.
The TV stuff only works in America.
The Kinect, I didn't see ONE game at E3 that made me think the Kinect was awesome or even worthwhile.
It has DRM, always online and no indie support or free to play games etc.
True innovation I believe will be Gaikai with accessing the entire PS1/2 & 3 library of games on any device and PS4.
I want this on the PS4. Make it happen Sony!
Yusif said that they showed 20 new games, 17 exclusives and that he doesn't know if Sony can say the same.
PS4 = 140 Games in the launch window and 40 of them are exclusives.
Hmm......
Interesting.
"It's been easier to get our game onto a Sony platform than it has been to get on Steam," said Cobb. That's how drastically things have changed these days."
Wow, imagine in a few years having as deep a library of awesome games as Steam with the ease of self-publishing as apple store on the PS Store and Gaikai. Good move Sony.
I just don't get how Microsoft thought this was a good idea?!
It's starting to make me really frustrated. I buy both Xbox & PS and I really just don't get it.
Why can't they just listen to what we want as gamers and execute on that? It sounds bloody simple to me.
The majority don't want Kinect, they're forcing you to buy a kinect with the Xbox and at E3 they didn't even show ONE single game that made the Kin...
Wow - from the way Yoshida's talking about the Oculus, hope to see a partnership or something like that on the PS4 sometime!
""We've got a couple of the development kits, and I tried it out and I love it,""
"When we asked whether the company's planning on offering support in the future, he only offered a "No comment" with a big smile." - YES ha.
TO CLARIFY:
• None of those 10 people can play the game at the same time. 10 people have to play it at completely separate times, so they can't play together...*sigh*
• Those 10 people have to have been identified as your 'family members' at least 30 days prior to sharing the game.
• If you give a game to a friend, they can play that game AS long as you are logged in to their Xbox One. If you aren't logged in they have to...
Yoshida (you know, the guy in charge of all of Playstation's games) confirmed that it is still in development.
Don't be disappointed!
You've got all the PS4 exclusive, free to play games + multi-platform awesomeness that is Watch Dogs, AC 4 etc.
Then once you're done that you'll have infamous early next year :)
Out of curiosity, why not?
One of mine too!
Yes! Remember he was at the Sony E3 conference after he got that free gold PS1 from Sony. Looks like Sony are woo'ing him with their indie loving charm ;)
@Blackbeld
I hear you, I too took forever to sign up for PS Plus as that was a big reason why I bought the PS3 for free online play (after buying a 360 myself).
But from a fellow gamer, without even the PS4, get playstation plus dude! It's freaking awesome!! If you buy a game, look at like this, for less than the price of one game you'll get dozens of free seriously awesome games! Every month you miss out on more free content that has already filled m...
AH soooo many awesome games! My head hurts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When the last gen launched do you guys remember? We didn't get anywhere NEAR this MANY awesome games, it was like a barren wasteland for a while with a trickle of ordinary games.
Love this new gen so much.
This guy...
