nice list. i dont see any legend of dragoon and arc the lad.
EDIT: i just thought about it. sony should look i to picking up the publishing rights for valkyria chronicles, and even dragon force. those games would make a killing if they were remastered.
demons souls without a shadow of a doubt. those who said dark souls either never experienced demons souls at their peak, played demons souls but played it offline, or watched a play through of demons souls on youtube.
i would say yes. playing ay of the souls games, just isnt the same without the online element. whether it be helping, invading or getting invaded.
fallen: nice! looking forward to this badboy.
you could always impose those handicaps upon yourself? choose not to summon or do a low level run. thats what i do after i play through. it gets pretty intense sometimes, for me atleast.
EDIT: kinda like doing the one mage run on the original final fantasy lol.
from someone who never played any of the other witchers, im looking forward to this game. not really too sure what to expect, is it more like skyrim (fps open world) or more like da inquisition?
very impressive numbers!
scholar is a good game and well worth the price of admission, and i bought it day 1 on ps3!
even with the go, they continued to support it. go lasted 3 years, and thats with a system that refused to take off for one reason or another. they didnt just abandon ship once the vita came to fruition. more than could be said for the wii or the xbox.
i almost caught myself in that last night. my wife, who doesnt game by the way, out of the blue said she wanted to try dark souls 2 scholar. the words was literally ready to flow out of my mouth "oh its gonna be too hard for you!". i caught myself cause now i was more curious than anything lol, fired up scholar and watched her play a good couple hours! i was impressed honestly. in the end, it doesnt matter if its demons, bloodborne, scholar, or ds1, if it can pull more players into ...
i agree with most, if not all that was listed. one thing that wasnt listed, is sony always stand behind their product, even long after the cycle is finished. theres no arguing it either, sony has a proven track record of doing so.
i know i wouldnt. i like to see something tangible for something i paid for.
i gotta say battletoads on the nes was a pretty hard game. came out when i was elementary and made me wanna smash some controllers back in the day. probably if i go back to it today itll be easier...maybe not hah.
kalkano: i thought about shining force, and i thought about how jacked it got after 3. i miss the srpg shining force, not that disasterpiece that happened afterwards LOL. you remember shining the holy ark on saturn? oh my hahaha. since you said real shining force, im gonna assume you meant the first 3, and for that, i can definately dig it. :)
valkyria chronicles saga remastered, dragon force, phantasy star, or beyond oasis...thats what im hoping from sega.
i didnt read the article, but if bb is on track to be the most successful in the soul series, thats phenomenal! being that dk1, 2, and scholar are multiplatform.
because demons soul was the start of it all, no offense to kings field. everything about it sucked you in. i miss world tendency, the nexus hub...the broken archstone? lol. give us the chance to explore that! sorry, you can probably tell im partial to the game, even though i love em all lol.
they should remaster dragon force! you guys remember that game? thats a great srpg. that and valkyria chronicles. the king of rpgs would get sega to do it ;).
sony has a terrific track record of churning out worth while exclusives. plus, they stand behind the platform. they dont abandon ship a couple years down the road. even when the next generation is nearing, the previous iteration is still trekking on. im sorry to say sony is gonna decimate all this generation. this is nothing like last gen when sony had to battle back from a year and half lag behind.
im gonna say no, cause playstation (not just ps4) pumps out great exclusives all year long.
