they ohviously dont know sony too well. they usually keep everything under wraps. there are a few exceptions.
i know the idea is probably played out already, but if sony acquired a few of konamis ips, or perhaps even kojima to head up a studio. that would be excellent news.
ive had the honor of owning a sega saturn. it was a bad ass machine back in its day. it had many good games, but my all time favorite from that machine was none other than the venerable dragon force. they gotta sequel or atleast remaster that badboy.
so im guessing for ps4, there is gonna be a prologue or some sort to shape up our playthrough?

like you said. you dont want them gimmicky. if you mandate all their first-party studios to make morpheus-enabled games, then its gonna be gimmicky. if they have a studio, or two dedicated to only morpheus, then thats where the magic lies. seems like sony is going down that path.
i love that sony has so many talented first-party studios; you never know what to expect. hell, last gen i think it was first-party alone that drove them through that generation, now with the backing of the others? goodness...

dont let the difficulty scare you. its fun. if you havent played any souls game before. you basically die to learn what youre doing wrong, or can do differently. thats the way the game is setup.
