What's wrong with that exactly?
I was looking forward to Andromea, but unfortunatly lifeless facial animation, character pop-ins and lots of techical issues breaks my inmersion.
If they manage to fix this somehow, I'll consider buying. But not at this moment.
Just a quick summary on positives and negatives from this review:
Positive:
- Very good first impression
- Massive, mysticque world
- Enjoyable main-story (biggest positive)
- Compares BotW with games like Jak and Daxter: Precursors Legacy (world), Shadow of the Colossus (monsters) and Dark Souls (some enemies hit hard).
- Many small touches like using Link's shield as a snowboard, attaching bombs to balloons and sending them...

Doesn't mean that I agree on this score, but then again, I dont have a Switch to play it on..
For me its an absolute 9.8. A few minor quirks here and there But the story, gameplay, graphics, world building and the deep deep lore is just so good. Best game I've played this gen.

Well, I also have a 4K HDR TV and the game plays at 2160p checkerboard rendering which is almost identical to 4K.
Just to add; I didn't just buy Pro because of Horizon. I bought it because I have a TV that supports higher resolutions, and the increased performance boost across all games and better image quality also helps a lot. Boost mode in particular tipped me over the edge.
I was against Playstation Pro originally and thinking of buying an Xbox One Scorpio. But after seeing Horizon in action on Playstation Pro, and the fantastic boost mode who provides much higher and more stable frame-rates it convinced me to buy a Playstation Pro alongside with Horizon: Zero Dawn. I don't think 33% power advantage will compete against Playstations library and price.
Looking forward to all the new games utilizing this new hardware.
Reason why I'm waiting to buy VR is because of the resolution and cables really. Tried it on my local gamestop and loved it! But I'm super geeky when it comes to screen resolution and clarity... Maybe 2nd gen will do it for me :-) Super interested tho!
Only thing I want from them is Legacy servers :-) But I think that would be better suited to announce at BlizzCon.
Why are you so hung up over resolution and framerate? Do you think the game looks bad because of it? Just trying to understand!
Sony isn't the only company doing VR stuff. You have Oculus, google and samsung. Pretty much any game that's made for Oculus will also be made for PSVR.
You have to understand that this is new tech, and it has great potential to become something really big. I'm already seeing exciting games like Ace Combat 7, Eve and Adrift. In time, we will get full fledged experiences, but it takes a lot of time to make.

To be honest, I don't really care about 60fps as long as the gameplay feels smooth and doesn't dip under 28 frames.
When did gamers stop caring about gameplay over framerate? There's some games out there that dips far under 20 and that's not acceptable.
People expect too much. No, this will not change the outcome of the story but merely is a feature that adds to the bond that you are creating with Nates brother. I don't think these dialogue options will be common. I think the idea is great.
I've been reading through the Uncharted forum that you linked, and I can't really see many complaining about the MP. Many complains are about bugs and how to improve the MP. Very few complains about sidekicks and mysticals.
I did play Uncharted 2 MP, liked it. Played Uncharted 3 MP, liked it even though it was not as good as U2 MP. I've been playing the Uncharted 4 MP and so far, I like it a lot.

I was HOPING that they would drop a Single Player bomb on us right before launch, and this is what we get. I'm very disappointed and will not be buying this game. Rainbow Six has always been a single player experience for me. I hope they change their focus after this disaster.
Me and 3 friends bought the game and of our characters had different fates. All of my characters survived my friends had 1 and 3 survivors.
The game lasted for 12 hours. I excamined every clue that I found though.
