That would be great—and is possible given PlayStation finally switching over to industry standard architecture.
Plus, I think this way more gamers would stay happy instead of all the pitchforks being swung feverishly around like at the moment.
PlayStation 5 is coming. Rather that's in two years or three years is simply semantics.
Agreed. Unlikely, but hopefully. The only time I'm okay paying for the same digital version of a game on a next generation iteration of a console is if there has been a remaster done or enhancements like 2K to 4K.
This story is being picked up by a lot of outlets. Rumor will ripen into an announcement soon, me thinks.
The same panic happened with the PlayStation 4 being discussed. By the time the PS4 launched hardly anyone complained.
Those who aren't ready for a PlayStation 5 do know that even after it launches you still have another solid year of strong support from Sony, don't you? PlayStation 4 will be chugging along with the majority of PS gamers for at least another three years (edit: from now).
PlayStation 5 could be revealed this December at the PSX, launched the following year—let's suppose November—and seventy-five percent of PS gamers would still be playing/getting new releases on ...
Just noticed that with the Supersampling Mode 4K can be downscaled to 1080p to enhance frame rate in some games. Would bet this will work with Far Cry 5.
Right?! I clicked on so many piles-of-bones—too many—and still was lost. Might of had something to do with choosing to Play Online my first time playing the game. Maybe some of the piles were online features/gamer records—kinda like Mario World 3D?
Ubisoft tends to be pretty great at the whole peak-of-generational-realism, thing. I remember being floored how great Far Cry 3 looked. Still holds up nicely.
I get inundated with games because I know I can save ten bucks by pre-ordering a game on Amazon. The alternative is waiting and often-times having non-buyers-remorse reading everyone state how great the game is, then having to pay full price—or wait MONTHS for the price to drop [Battlefield 1, Horizon Zero Dawn]...
Time to fire this game back up and take a few dream cars for a spin. Fingers crossed we get an '86 or '94 Fairlady Z next time—or even a 350Z would be nice.
Still, not going to bite any hands with the nearly dozen FREE vehicles given to gamers every month. And, all without any kind of season pass—which Polyphony could had easily implemented.
Definitely need a mode aside from 'Just Driving' mode for VR on Gran Turismo.
Amazing price for even just Final Fantasy X. Actually, it's only $12.49 on PlayStation official site.

Congratulations on the Platinum trophy.
Might give that a shot. I appreciate the hint. Also, if you downvoted me, what the heck, man?
Do you ever sometimes, just a little bit want to reach through your screen and break off a habitual serial downvoter's thumb and glue it to the top of stated nihilist's head so that it's always giving a thumbs up?
Who emotionally scarred these people? 🧐
So, I tried to play this yesterday. Made it one or two minutes into the first level/castle and was slaughtered by a big guerilla dog-beast 🐕 🐒. Loaded after the death and was outside a castle unable to go anywhere but the small courtyard.
Now, I don't claim to be The Wizard with games, but considering I make it around just fine in games like Portal and Nioh I'd like to think that I'm not the only player who has given up at this point of the game....
Finally started today. It's been downloaded since day one but I just kept putting it off.
What a whimsical experience. It almost doesn't even feel like a game—more like an extremely lucid dream. What drew me in considerably was when I first peered into the water and witnessed my reflection. I looked like a mix of the lead character from Journey and the cloaked spirit from Spirited Away. I was further pleased when I learned that taking a screenshot via the Share Butt...
Added to my list. Thanks for the insight. Glad I stumbled upon it.
