People keep saying that jrpgs are making a return and in reality they're not. The ones that have been released so have been failures.
Everytime one releases I read the same comment, wait for Persona 5, a game that has been delayed for years, a game that was originally planned for PS3.
As I said, no innovation, no progress especially when the biggest non FF jrpg to look forward to is a ps3 port.
I guess someone had to defend them. I mean even Shu threw NMS under the bus.
@Raiden
Pretty sure the Japanese people love Apple as well as use windows for their PCs.
As for the rest of your comment, what?
@xander
No they don't. All they see is Sony can do no wrong and for some reason is the best fit even if it's vodka and milk.
So basically, it's okay to rip on Phil but not on Sean Murray? And Sean chose to be the face of the game in turn he was the PR guy. He's a grown man and he should have known better.
But again as long as the excuses and the forgivness are there from the white knighters these companies can get away with half assed products, unless it's Ubi, EA or of course Microsoft.
Of course, a lot of the hate was xbox fans on a bandwagon. Had nothing to do with the game actually being horrible.
I wonder were the xbox fans driving the hate for the better games found on ps4 and oh yea, PC?
Yes, it's on PC and PS4.
Except, I'm not giving out any advice am I? So exactly what should I be following of my own?
Fallout 4 was another disappointment this gen. Not as big as some other games but still not a good game.
No kidding right? You only have to go into any Phil Spencer article and you have people going to work calling Phil names and saying how sick they are of his interviews.
But for Sean Murray, he's misunderstood, give him a chance, the media is biased, people should move on, don't beat a dead horse and any and all other excuses especially made for a guy who lied and sold gamers one of the biggest let downs in gaming history.
Great price for one of the best controllers out there.
A whole new experience in being horrible.
The lesson is a bad game is a bad game.
Says right in the article, but keep on defending.
I still have a backlog of 360 and PS3 games. Sadly i sold both my 360 and PS3. MS has been making a good number of my already owned 360 games BC with X1 so that is a good thing. Unfortunately can't say the same for PS4, it's a shame I wont be able to finish a lot of those great games that were released.
JRPGs are relics stuck in the past and refuse to update with the times in terms of innovation and design game play. It's why most of these japanese companies are straggling and turning to other options like mobile and panchinko machines.
The east just isn't putting out the hits like they used too and most anticipated games are coming from the west. The only real shame are for those who like bug eyed girls with huge boobs who scream and cry and shoot powers out of th...
Lol, love the fact they released a barren, empty game and players defended it.
If the past is the past and they're both Japanese then why haven't they worked on anything together since their fallout?
Being both Japanese has nothing to do with them working well together. Hell that may be the reason they haven't worked together at all.
Exactly, a bunch of blood soaked characters along with a bunch of third party characters and yet Sony is a better fit.
Downvotes are nothing new. Lol
