it is their creation,not Slant Six's. Confrontation was to be like Socom 2 in it's purest form. However it isn't,lots of things changed [by the way i'm not saying it is bad] and to me the way to bring it back to the real pure form is from Zipper.

It takes a lot of people to make a game so i think it should take a few people to review a game,the lone reviewer thing just doesn't hold weight like it once used to and needs to be revamped i.m.o.
like i said the writer isn't saying it'll be a HL but a game that defines like a HL,you missed the point.
It says it will define an era like HL did that's all. Believe me i played HL as much as anybody did but to make it out as a game that can never be topped is ludicrous.
people have played the beta so i don't think it is all based on graphics on what's being said and saying it won't be a redefining game based on not playing it isn't making your case any better that it won't be that game. I haven't played it either so i won't say either way but the videos sure look very nice and at the time Half Life looked very nice too above most other shooters,so graphics have some part of the equation as a game that defines something new.
but hey who knows,maybe he has a point but for sure it'll redefine what a good shooter should look like.
