but they could very well operate differently than how they have been doing in light of new gaming tech.
i see portable gaming getting stronger with more power to do things like a home console could.
This would disrupt / interfere Microsoft's planned Windows 7 gaming domination
then we could see this killing off lots of things
as much as i believe it will happen,how long will it take is the answer & question in one.
PC gaming is not console gaming,don't have it forced into being as such but allow choice.

all those games you mention won't be out until late 2009 and OF is not the same kind of shooter as any of those games.
PS2 got off to a rocky start too
the year of the big shooters
course not everyone has played every game with launchers so everyone's opinion will differ.
they just dropped the price,don't take to much logic to figure they still have more money to milk off it.
