Mass Effect 2 a year on will still be one of the best titles around. Fact. And it is the best game of 2010 in my opinion - thus far - Nothing else comes close.

Just because someone enjoys achievements doesn't make them a "whore." Chasing in-game rewards is nothing new. These days, you can just track them. Simples.
I think you're looking in to that a little too much...
What's it got to do with being suited to one console and not the other? Splinter Cell is "suited" for the Xbox, but it has a HD collection coming on the PS3. Stop worrying about which platform the games are on and concentrate on the games. I still don't get console loyalty in that sense... it's not like the console owners care, they all want the same thing: your money.
