So many reasons, as a games company and publisher they just become worse and worse.
They've killed off and left smaller companies to die so they could create a quick cash-in which has annoyed fans of these companies annoyed.
They milk almost every franchise they own dry.
Then when they publish a fantastic game the fans were mostly happy about they drip it apart with DLC and 'cod like' premium services(yes, battlefield 3).

I think you're half right about what a killer app is. Although i think you mean 'game'.
A killer game doesn't always mean epic sales or top 10 lists. If anything the killer games to me are usually the ones people sleep on where as judging by what you're talking about, you would like a game that busts sales such as COD(which is coming).

Indeed also if you watch the E3 gameplay followed by this demo at the molotov point you'll notice in the E3 demo it goes to the left of the guy then he drags it over, in the demo on Jimmys show it goes straight over to the enemy. Subtle differences
It's scripted because simply at E3 it was a gameplay video and on this show it was basically a video of some of that gameplay, i'm not convinced the guy was playing it on this show.

I said obviously PC/Arma 2 runs far better graphics.
If for instance DayZ was made to run in MAG's graphics then 40-50 players could be possible.
Console couldn't have 64 players in BF3 because 1 it looked insanely good and 2 they don't have the processing power to handle so much at such high quality.
MAG's player count says hello. Obviously Arma 2 on PC can run with far better graphics however scale and player count wouldn't be the issue.

Mashable got first invite, gaming is not a top priority of Mashable it's most likely windows/PC/mobile related.
