Neither will buy it, yes eventually cloud gaming will become the 'thing' but lets be honest here..
Both microsoft, sony, nintendo & even steam have the power to do their own cloud thing when the time comes and not only that but they'll have access to more games and partners for that moment.
None of them need OnLive.
Not feeling this controller in specific, seen pretty cool ones in the past.
However i don't see how Kotaku staff getting a new controller is news, more so being that they wrote about a paragraph as a 'review'
This could have been so awesome!
What people wanted with this franchise when it came to multiplayer/co-op was the same elder scrolls format, with co-op or mmo added.
The game works, some people wanted to run around the world with friends/trade help each other, fight each other etc.
What wasn't wanted is another typical mmo trying to follow WoW.
Not looking good :( fairly disapointed. I just wanted to be able to go online...
Kotaku really have gone to sh*t.
This is so far from an 'impersonation' I've ever seen, in fact maybe it's because both games have guns?.. yeah must be that.
I don't even want to get started on a rant because i'll state the obvious like 'they're not a like'.
Anyways, screw Kotaku.
Would be a decent engine for say monster hunter on the Vita/3DS. A maybe slightly more optimized version anyway
I disagree, the future is brilliant but not where it's the already becoming 'overplayed' near/semi-realistic future setting.
COD needs something new, new engine + new setting not yet done and even new writers because every game is just a story ripped straight from an existing film and gameplay packed with slow-mo and explosions lol.
Blops 2 is just looking like a wanna be Battlefield 2142 and as it stands the latest ghost recon is a lot 'fresh...
I agree.
Although i've wished for multiplayer even if it was only like you and a friend and been called dumb and that it wouldn't work in elder scrolls because it would 'take away' from the experience.
Hopefully this turns out well, should be fun :D
I'm not one for petty statements and subtle disses.
However from a game stand point i really like the latest ghost recon, it's good fun. In fact the most fun i've had in a shooter for awhile.
Coming from a guy who prefers the tactical shooters that involve good team work, was a huge Socom fan until they did the toilet on it.
Don't get me wrong this isn't near Socom tactical but it's a solid 3rd person shooter that'...
Lol yes and no to your comments.
The concept is cool but to be honest games will never be full immersive until you have either a room in which can display holograms around you or a form of HUD that displays your scenario infront of your eyes no matter which way you look.
This is my major hate of motion gaming, seems like cheap cash in's instead of pumping money into the resources for funding the future tech
Have to agree with @Nelson
There wasn't much in the list that was missed.
One thing i noticed was how yet again a COD trailer has ships exploding, and an inside helicopter shot with the sas gas mask guy. Aka it's yet another rehash.
Anyways, for people that enjoy the franchise i'm sure they'll appreciated the list :)
Bloody hell, soon microsoft will be asking you to wear full body out fits just to play games.
fable will most likely be for the the next consoles launch so no doubt, they'll run halo4, forza, kinect kinect kinect, boast about new services that are free elsewhere and then a bunch of multi-plat games. Mostly black ops 2..
sorry but it's true, the last 2 E3's by microsoft have been poor, i can't see this one being better not when the chances of a new console being announced next year.
Nothing brings more hype than a new console
pointless because they rarely ban cheaters, the game itself is near broken and hacks for COD are everywhere
To be honest, when i heard about this game i wasn't impressed. I though 'just another cheap cash in game'.
Then i seen the first trailer and i liked that they went from the type of graphics they did being that it's closer to comic style however i thought the game seemed a bit bland gameplay wise.
However my friend tried the demo and said it was decent and it started getting great reviews, so i thought i'd buy it and went for the season pas...
Looks good to me
In my eyes if you're going to make a gaming pc you go all out, yes your budget may be low but in that case save for longer, that's what i done.
Don't get me wrong i don't have a super computer but i made sure it ran everything i wanted it too, bf3 runs half high half ultra at 1080p 60fps so that's decent enough.
Ended up costing around £650, since doubled ram, next up is to go sli with my gpu :)
I agree to some extent guys, i would say a beta can be reviewed similar to giving first impressions however the title doesn't state 'beta review' so i'm with you :P
The new playstation SDK that allows your own games/apps is FREE.
They've released the tools, it's that simple.
I agree with the last sentence :)
I personally think 'Playstation All-stars' is a perfect name :)
Obviously 'battle royale' is an addition to the name but people will refer to it without that, not only this but it leaves the title open to other genres.
'Playstation All-stars: The Olympics' Made that up of course but you get the point :P
No beta has already been confirmed..
I'd be willing to place a bet that there's only dedicated servers for PC players though.
