Uh TitnTin is right, if you couldn't skip them THEN we'd have a problem. But the fact is as soon as a cutscene comes up you CAN skip, then guess what? Skip it. If you choose to watch a lengthy cutscene even though you don't like to and refuse to skip it yet complain, you're a f*cktard plain and simple.
Afraid of missing the story? Too bad, you're playing MGS not some cookie cutter UE3 shooter from Joe Developer. People are really getting retarded this generation, common sense is ...
Considering it was a beta and with all the stuff Konami had to iron out with it, I think it's wise to wait until after retail hits to make final resolution claims on things that happened during beta.
Aside from that, the resolution didn't hamper my fun of the game so I couldn't care less about that when I'm playing. I DO care about it taking steam away from people who'd like to use it as fodder for some reason against the game (mostly stemming from jealousy).
Good, 1080p confirmed now everyone can stfu who was talking crap about the MGO beta. That is until Quaz says it's actually 1079p and then people will start some stupid ass argument. Still, it could be 480i on a 13 inch black and white TV and I'm still getting it.
Haters say what?
It's a PS3 with a hat and facial features o_O, Freud would like to have a chat with you Snuk.
But a stranger is a friend you haven't met yet, or possibly someone who wants to kill you, it's 50/50.
It fails because I couldn't find River City Ransom.
The first one had a fairly decent story and since this one picks up where it left off, I'm actually interested in seeing what happens.
And Dawn of War: Soul Storm.
To be honest I went into the first Saint's Row expecting the fun of Driv3r, but was pleasantly surprised. It seemed in it's almost shameless copying of San Andreas that they actually made a decent game, and now that I look back on it had a few features that I found better implemented than SA as well. Oh and Insurance Scamming was a blast.
Looks like they're trying to grab that over the top action/dark humor crown that GTA4 seemed to have left somewhere. As long as they don't try...
Then you aren't really a Metal Gear fan then are you Bladestar? They could give it a 1/10 and while I'm sure a lot of us would be calling for their respective publications brought down in effigy, it wouldn't hamper any fan's purchase decision on the game.
I'm already counting on a few outlets giving it low scores just because. There's already a known bias towards the game from reviewers it seems. Come on 3 outlets posting the SAME review with differing scores? Wtf is that, how o...
Neither do I, but the last major gameplay addition to the series was persistent bodies it seems. They've been using the same antiquated mechanics since the PS1 days. The Tenchu series has the capability to be so much more, but they never seem to take it there.
Won't be too hard then since San Andreas and Vice City topped GTA4.
Thank jeebus, hopefully this one doesn't suck then.
Tenchu has been on a decline since Acquire stopped developing it. K2 needs to pass it over to someone else.
No open world? No sale, that was one of the catches that made me want the game anyway. Of course I'm getting it for PS3 but still, that sucks for people who were looking forward to it on the Wii.
No one else will be wrapping up any 20 year running stories so, not sure.
Dude, that Dpad sucks. Play 3rd Strike or Kof2k2/2k3 on it and then come back and say it doesn't.
Oh no, I was referring to Halo 3, NG2, etc. etc. Jury's still out on MGO though, suppose we'll see next Thursday.
