I like Battlefield, I don't mind first person either. I just think that animation wise first person has always been very restrictive, and 3rd perspective can do much more. And no I don't want wall running in BF, Im specifically talking about the smooth transition between animations in Mirrors Edge
Well how about if they took some of the mechanics from Mirrors Edge?, nothing too fancy. More realistic first person perspective, smoother wall climb/vault/roll animations, a short slide mechanic, building up momentum to run
Im just gonna ask this here. What do fans think of a 3rd person approach for a BF game? Not a spin-off but a full fledge BF experience. I've had the thought for a while and I think there's so much more gameplay wise they would be able to achieve
Looking forward to having my day ruined when some jackass posts a spoiler heavy article of this game on N4G. I've made sure to block all news of it on Chrome, just hope YouTube is cooperative for the next couple of months
I agree, they definitely need to build it up. Show through out the game the changes in Peter as he wears the suit, just have a bit of singular focus. I think with Miles and MJ back in his life as well as being left jobless and (spoilers) his Aunt dying, and Octavius's betrayal, the suit could add to all sudden changes and lingerie regrets/emotions. Honestly I also love the idea of a darker story told
Playing as Venom in Ultimate was awesome. I especially liked snapping Trask soldiers in half, really added to the brutality of the character.
Out of curiosity, was it ever discovered why there's a random helicopter flying around the over world? It wasn't related to any mission
This is my way of thinking of course, but if you're just going to follow a trend then what's the point of getting into any industry that demands creativity? I think if you are going to make something similar then you hafto set it apart from everything else
Game isn't even a year old and this is the last major update. There's a lot more they could do, and they should definitely support it longer before moving on to a sequel. This is less of a game and more tools for creations, and there's always more to improve and add for creators
It is boring, there's really no way to deny that. The way the missions are structured, essentially they're all fetch quests but I thought it was clever that the main protagonist it's a delivery man so there's a reason for it being that way. However it's highs are very high, and it's very interesting and often confusing story/lore keeps you hooked, and it's world is a simplistic beauty. There's a lot to improve, and I would really like to see a sequel in the fu...
Well damn, seems there's people willing to pay over 1000$ for a Death Stranding jacket.
Who exactly are these things made for? Why make clothing inspired from games and then sell it at a ludicrous price?
Or they could just release an update for BC on next gen consoles, and release some extra content as paid DLC? I wonder how long it's going to take people to realize that it's possible to do that, and how long devs will try to get away with releasing "remasters" of current gen games.
Keeps telling me every time I turn my switch on if I want to reset it, kinda annoying
Well everything seems to be saying it is, so I'm assuming it will
Been waiting for this since they announced it was also going to be on the VITA. Really wanted try it out, waiting on the Switch release now.

I didn't say waypoints keep you from exploring. I'll use BoTW as an example. Memories are found by speaking to the old man whenever you see him at a stable, and he'll give you a general idea of where to go, but it's never pointed out for you and I think it's done pretty great. But there's a lot of games that would just tell you where everything is. I'll use Spider-Man as an example, all collectables are just shown to you and not much point of exploring New York cau...
never really bothered doing that in Death Stranding because I made sure to avoid BTs as much as I could. You have freedom to decide whether to take the beaten path or climb a mountain, but it still tells you your destination. Then again Death Stranding has a pretty straight to the point kind of world. Not much encouragess you to explore.
I think at this point approaching things in a different ways is exactly what this series needs. They need to take some time away from developing and instead look at BF was, and what it could be again. Fans will protest, but if a change to 3rd person effects the series in a good way then why not? And if they can figure out how to bring back to its Glory in first person then that's great too. I just wanna see DICE shine, cause they're really talented but it feels like they're held ...
