I fail to understand how what I said earlier is inappropriate. The entirety of last gen PlayStation gamers bragged about how they can play online for free, and how XBL is a scam. This gen it's mandatory and all of you get super defensive? That's a whole lot of hypocrisy.

I feel like I've heard this before… oh yeaaa every other game has this exact same PR hype line. I'd say I'm surprised that people are getting excited for this, but I'm not, history repeats itself.
SONY doesn't maintain third party servers, and it was already free and still free on PS3 and VITA. it's also free on PC and you don't hear devs and pubs complaining about keeping servers up on there for free.
not worth paying at any price. i'll just get my multiplayer fix on pc where I don't need some bs sub

Is that why most end up releasing just a couple of weeks after the release of the main game? Cause that seems pretty ready if they're able to release them so quickly afterwards
why would anyone do that? just to still be short on cash and hafto start from scratch on pc? you'll never get back what you payed for your console and games. best just invest in a gaming PC or buy a gaming laptop, and keep your console
DLC, and DLC disguised with the word "expansion". It's almost always just cut content anyway, don't know why people can't understand that if it was being worked on during the main game development then it's just stuff that was taken away to be sold later. Which is why devs almost never listen to suggestions for dlc cause it's all just planned out and after they collect their money they move on
How I would personally like it to be is essentially a tamagotchi egg without a screen or cleaning up poké poop, just add more functionality to it. Hopefully it works with this year's game
Sony's been consistent from the getgo, only Microsoft can have a better year. I don't think this year will be that year tho, even with all the new studios it'll still be some time before they finish or start development of their games.
Literally everything these guys have made have had so much charm. One of the few devs I can say I love everything they've done so far, can't wait to pick this up and see what the community does. If LBP is any indication then it's gonna be pretty amazing
I can play through Left Behind again and show exactly what I mean. I ain't bad at the game, the ai is simply inconsistent. I'll just stop here tho won't waste more of my time with this
I stopped playing it on Grounded because of how horrible the ai is. infected can hear me from far off from literally running for half a sec, I saved the clip because I was in compete disbelief. Played through Left Behind entirely on grounded, and it was a horrible experience with hunters always knowing where I was, or all coming up to investigate a brick throw. I hafto completely disagree about GOW, it's a much more emotional and engaging experience overall.
The Last of Us is far from a masterpiece. I like the game, but the ai is either very stupid (humans) or so smart that a clicker knows exactly where you are. companion ai is just completely useless too, but that's not surprising as they've been useless all throughout the Uncharted series.

All three. People are genuinely more interested in tech talk about consoles now than before, want them to be affordable because everyone's trying to be more economical, and exclusive define the individual console as well as bring people over to em.
Most open world games if not all have the same problem. Freedom to go about however you choose while exploring, but linear story where you have no choice and get a mission fail or game over. Played Gravity Rush 2 recently and those super linear missions really ruined it for me

Ubisoft can be pretty dumb sometimes, but I think I rather have them making StarWars games if I had to choose a third party publisher
Japanese version of Don't Think Twice sounds way better than both this and it's English counterpart
