I need them to make tweaks to the base game before I get excited for any DLC.

It's slow paced and that's what I really liked about, I played it for hours. Too bad it was ruined by the added weapons, and the in match store that allowed you to buy ammo and weapons. You at least know what you're getting into with linear games, and most over the years have adapted a more open design to their levels. With open world games I expect more different and instead get more of the same. In a game you can do everything that's possible in the real world with no limit. So why then is there so little possiblities and so much limitations in open world games?
The problem is the repetitiveness. They try distracting us with world size, and the small details, and the amount of NPCs in town but once you go and explore there's not much there to really hold your attention. Then you realize that everything you've been doing so far has been fetch quests disguised with some fluff objectives. Then there's the disconnect between the story and the freedom. I play mostly on my PS4 and have a Switch too. I don't really recommend the Switch. Indies are everywhere, and unless you like Nintendo exclusives the whole "on the go" excuse isn't a good enough reason to get it. I'm not sure why the media is pushing this whole "better on switch" narrative lately but games aren't better on the switch and no I don't say that because of difference in power.
