A.K.A. GOTY edition incoming. lol
I'm surprised there's any time dedicated to games. This is CES, not E3. lol
Exactly. "YOU NEED SCRATCH PROTECTION ON THIS BLU-RAY DISC?" No. Fuck off. Best Buy's even starting to do that shit now. Smh
I would argue the opposite, which is that physical gives brick & mortar stores like GameStop too much control over content. Everyone wants to have cheaper day-one digital prices, more frequent/extreme sales like Steam (although PSN/XBL are quickly catching up in this category), yet they don't understand why... The brick & mortars are the primary resellers of Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo hardware, so there's a conflict of interest by selling digital games day-one on the digital ma...
Inevitably, it's going to happen. lol Just look at the trends. 10Gbps fiber is a thing and 1Gbps is quickly on the rise on the municipal level. Hell, even Verizon's 5G network is targeting 1Gbps! Music, movies, TV shows, photos, books, magazines, newspaper... Digital. I'm not necessarily saying I vehemently *prefer* digital (although there are definitely some neat conveniences/advantages), but it's the way things are headed and physical will be a relic of the past. The sooner ...
Oh ya, that's been common LameStop practice for years. lol It's most likely the employees/managers opening sealed new copies so they can take the latest games home and play them overnight as a free rental and then think they can still get away with selling it as "new" to their gullible customers when it's clearly not.
Yeah, that business model's not going to sustain. People are lazy. They'll go to competitors like Gazelle / Glyde instead.
Lol dude's acting like he's all jacked up about the software that will come along with VR... Umm hate to break it to you, but the vast majority of VR games that have been shown will most likely be digital only games, with the exception of AAA games that have VR integration. XD

I honestly couldn't care less about "defending" SE but people, c'mon, be fair at least. The complainers sound like a bunch of entitled whiny millennial babies. You're all putting words into their mouth that they NEVER said, derived from assumptions and judgements you're making about a sentence.
You criticize them for "taking too long" to release a complete/full game (e.g. FFXV) but then also criticize them for a multi-part release strategy....
I practically unlock a trophy everyday anyways without even really making a conscious effort. What makes this "special?" lol
A.K.A. Microsoft: "Xbox One console sales suck compared to PS4 sales, so let's just focus on some other kind of arbitrary metric that no one cares about instead."
Well what a load of fucking hogwash.
^ This. I'm interested in any way that the developers can try to give me more replay value out of their game.
Funny you should say that, I just revisted D3UEE for PS4 this week and got the platinum and paragon lvl 10,000. My DH is an OP beast now.
Let's hope they're as laser focused on making the MP functional day-one, unlike Halo MCC. lol
Lmfao dare to dream, Mr. sleazy gamestop dude. Of course he's going to say that, his business depends on it. Wishful thinking ≠ the truth. LameStop can go die in a hole, one of the worst companies out there.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out. :)
And the "PC master race" wonders why in the hell everyone is prioritizing them less and less nowadays..... XD
