Very very efficient coding on their behalf actually. Perfect Dark Zero on the 360 was going ot get 64 player P2P support and that game has god tier networking code. There is a chance DICE could improve the code Before BF3 launches though,

I am telling you exactly what DICE has told everyone else. I play with L_Twin (KM of DICE) and he has even told me that while this isnt the ONLY reason, it is the biggest one.

Yes it is not Sonys fault for making the firmware but this is a HUGE breach of up to 77 MILLION people. Sony will have to do a lot to make up for their lack of security and all of the users info (including my own) getting stolen.

The 360 and PS3 have bandwith caps which only allow a very certain amount of kbs or mbs through, so you may have a 50mbs connection but are probably only using like 2mbs on your PS3/360. If this cap was gone more data could be streamed to you on an online game and DICE would be able to up the player limit as the bandwith caps are why the console version have 24 player MP.
its weird if the new Nintendo system has good online and not bandwith caps like 360/PS3....BF3 for the new nintendo console might just be the console version to get....

They didnt hack LIVE thought they made a program that stole point CODES off of Microsoft servers then had too individually add each code to their account.

Well there is no system that I can say had a good launch or was cheap when it first launched either. Had to wait for MGS4 till I got my PS3.

Well some games (cubic ninja) wont even have the option to turn 3D on. So some games will be developed without 3D.
