People have lost interest in this game and Kinect in general. The hype has died down and now all stores are stocked to the tits with kinects, which aren't going anywhere. If a stroll to any games retailer isn't evidence enough just look at amazon's top 100 (USA) this game is 89th while the wii's just dance 2 is #1. In Canada it's 169 and no kinect titles are even above top 50. And North America is the strongest market for the 360. For more proof just watch how hot thi...

Sweet just when I didn't think plus could get any better I find out about free games on holidays. Consider me a permanent member (unless the free games stop coming).
Assassin's Creed was the reason I bought a PS3. No lie. I was disappointed with the game somewhat but then I got introduced to Nathan Drake and everything was all good.
I couldn't care less about that feature. When I'm playing a game I don't want someone bothering me about stuff that has nothing to do with what I am doing. It's bad enough the people I live with try and interrupt my games, I don't need everyone on my friends list bugging me to play some other game. I can see that they are online if I want to play with them I will quit the game I'm playing and join them.
The only thing wack is your failure to troll.
So you paid $18 for 3 months and this month you got stacking ($15), Digger HD ($10), LBP Prehistoric Moves ($6), 2 mini games ($6), Spyro 2 ($6), Qore ($3) and you get to try ME2 and bunch of other games for an hour. Total $46 worth of free stuff and that doesn't include the discounts on all the games and DLC.
When Sony starts to see a decline in sales for the PS3 they will probably cut the price. A price cut cuts into their profits and since the PS3 is selling more than ever why would they cut the price.
Sorry to hear that you can't afford a PS3 but the PS3 is really a good deal. Consider you bought an xbox for $200. So for $100 more you get 154 Gb of more storage ($90), wi-fi ($50), blu-ray player ($100), online/netflix ($60). Even if you just got the bigger hard drive ...
Bill also has sold 90 million shares of Microsoft in the past year, 10 million in the past week.

If this were possible, why wouldn't EA have made DS:Extraction compatible with kinect? If the kinect install base really is twice that of the Move then it would be stupid not to port the game to kinect. Sounds more like wishful thinking and I am sure all the Gears fans are eagerly awaiting Gears 3 not some POS kinect game.
Well there will still be marketing talk. It's sad that this gen has been all about sales/marketing than about quality games.
Obviously, Sony reports shipped numbers whereas MS reports sold to customer./s
With kinect you are playing handball pretending to play tennis.
The only one attacking consumers are the hackers. I pay to play my games online and have fun. When you hack the system and ruin games by cheating I lose out. They aren't prosecuting any paying customers they are prosecuting people that are enabling piracy and ruining my online experience.
Everyone is so full of sh1t. OtherOS was garbage I tried YDL, ubuntu, xubuntu and dsl on it and they all sucked because you didn't have full access to the ps3's power. Also if homebrew is all people want then clearly the 360 would have no piracy with their inclusion of Kodu. Jailbreaking is only for 1 thing free games and as a result the rest of us paying customers get shafted.
The first one was produced on a shoe string budget. I think the sales surprised everyone. They think going multiplatform will increase sales and therefore have put more into the dev budget. Thus, they can spend time creating an open world. Towns in DS case is due to budget constraints, whereas FFxiii not having towns was probably due to space constraints on DVD.
Sounds interesting. I should be done Killzone 3 after a couple of months so this will be a nice change. I wonder if Socom is going to be 3D also. I know most of the new ps3 games coming out are but some aren't.
Sony has been keeping things interesting though with move. I mean they just released DS:Extraction a couple of days ago and there is K3 to look forward to in a few weeks. Kinect hasn't had a new game come out since November. While the games do that look interesting don't have release dates and will probably only come out for the holidays.
GT5 isn't a game...it's a way of life.
You miss the point at christmas it was in the top 10 same with the kinect and now interest is falling off despite the fact that dancing games are very popular (hell the wii has 4 dance titles in the top 20). What I am getting at is that these new motion controls are just a fad that is now dying. I am not just picking on the kinect, the Move is in the same boat, although there are quite a few people interested in Killzone 3 right now that fad will soon pass also and we will be back to using ...
